Description: Running back Joe McKnight has been released by the Jets in advance of Tuesday's cutdown day.
Insight: McKnight had fallen behind Chris Ivory, Bilal Powell and Mike Goodson on the depth chart. Expect him to be picked up by another team because he can play special teams.

Description: Jets running back Joe McKnight is expected to play Sunday versus St. Louis according to the Newark Star-Ledger. McKnight missed last week's game with a concussion.
Insight: Unfortunately Bilal Powell and Shonn Greene will also be in uniform, meaning that McKnight will have little to no fantasy significance in Week 11.

Description: A sprained ankle will keep Jets running back Joe McKnight on the sidelines for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Insight: McKnight has just 113 yards rushing this season and hasn't caught a single pass in eight games. Unless Shonn Greene and Bilal Powell both go down with injuries later in the season, McKnight is almost worthless in fantasy.

Description: Jets running back Joe McKnight will move into the backup role for Shonn Greene with Bilal Powell out due to a dislocated shoulder.
Insight: If Shonn Green can continue what he started last week (161 yards rushing, 3 TDs), Powell will not be missed, but McKnight could certainly get some meaningful carries this week.

Description: Brian Costello of the New York Post reports Jets running back and return specialist Joe McKnight will move to cornerback with Darrelle Revis out for the season.
Insight: This change won't affect fantasy at all but it's an interesting tidbit. McKnight did play a bit of corner back in high school so this isn't completely out of left field. The former USC star is an incredible athlete so we wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he finds success in this new role.

Description: Jets backup running back Joe McKnight is questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo with a hamstring injury
Insight: Bilal Powell will likely be the backup to Jets starter Shonn Greene. Greene should see plenty of work and post fantasy-worthy numbers in the opener.
