Description: New England has waived quarterback Tim Tebow.
Insight: Those who still think he can throw at an NFL level are as wrong as those who thought he would become a Pats tight end.

8/10/2013 3:05:00 PM
Description: Once again New England third-string quarterback Tim Tebow proved he's a running back playing quarterback.
Insight: Tebow was 4-for-12 for 55 yards and rushed four times for 31 yards. Those who think he'll catch passes this year are mistaken and those who think he can throw at an NFL are also wrong.

7/26/2013 7:16:00 PM
Description: Tom Curran from Comcast Sports New England said that Tim Tebow looked "horrendous" in his first official practice with the Patriots.
Insight: Curran was referring to Tebow's passing as two of his seven passes were intercepted. Tebow also took part in some receiving drills and even lined up as a running back a few times. He'll get reps this season, just probably not at quarterback.

6/21/2013 6:48:00 PM
Description: According to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss, the Patriots are not expected to move Tim Tebow to tight end.
Insight: Tebow is expected to compete for a third-string quarterback spot. The Patriots have two of the best tight ends in football in Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, but neither is certain to be active in Week 1, Gronk due to back surgery and Hernandez due to legal troubles stemming from an ongoing murder investigation.

Description: Tim Tebow's contract with New England will be worth $1.36 million over two seasons. SOURCE: Field Yates, ESPN Boston
Insight: That's the minimum base salary for a player entering his fourth season. The deal could be worth a maximum of $3.385 million if Tebow reaches all of his incentives, though that's highly unlikely. As for what position he'll play next season, coach Bill Belichick said, "We're going to do what's best for the football team."

Description: The Patriots have signed quarterback Tim Tebow and expect him to be in mini-camp on Tuesday. SOURCE: Ed Werder, ESPN
Insight: It makes sense because Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels drafted Tebow when he was still coaching the Broncos. For now it looks like Tebow will be third on New England's quarterback depth chart behind Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett. Tebow could also get some looks at running back and tight end.

5/9/2013 11:16:00 AM
Description: Tebow Mania won't be coming to New England according to Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Apparently head coach Bill Belichick "hates" Tebow as a player. That's pretty harsh. Tebow was let go recently by the Jets and hasn't drawn much interest from other teams. His best hope is to land a backup job before training camp starts in July.

Description: When asked about the possibility of adding quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason, new Jaguars GM David Caldwell said, "I can't imagine a scenario where he would be a Jacksonville Jaguar." SOURCE: ESPN New York
Insight: Jacksonville seemed like a good fit for Tebow given his popularity in Florida and the Jaguars' recent instability at the quarterback position. Now that the Jags are out of the running, we're not sure where Tebow will land in 2013.

12/23/2012 10:47:00 AM
Description: ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Jaguars are the favorites to land quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason.
Insight: Tebow is expected to be released by the Jets after the season. Tebow should have a chance to start in Jacksonville so this move would be good for his fantasy value.

10/31/2012 9:42:00 AM
Description: New York Jets backup QB Tim Tebow is being sought after by Jacksonville, according to an Action News Jacksonville report.
Insight: Tebow has done very little in New York while playing a varity of positions. He's thrown just three passes and rushed for 78 yards on 23 carries. Jaguars' owner Shad Khan has always been a big Tebow supporter.

10/18/2012 3:55:00 PM
Description: New York QB Tim Tebow will get some reps at running back Sunday against the Patriots according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
Insight: Tebow will serve as Shonn Greene's backup on Sunday. This season Tebow has compiled 64 rushing yards on 18 carries.

10/8/2012 11:22:00 AM
Description: New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow could see a lot more action on Monday night against Houston, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Insight: With Santonio Holmes out, Stephen Hill and Dustin Keller likely also sidelined and Shonn Greene not producing out of the backfield, Tebow might be the team's most explosive offensive weapon.

10/4/2012 12:24:00 PM
Description: ESPN New York reports that Jets owner Woody Johnson "will push" for Rex Ryan to start Tim Tebow at quarterback if Mark Sanchez continues to struggle.
Insight: Well, we knew this would happen at some point. If Tebow ends up taking the job from Sanchez, fantasy owners can expect weak passing numbers but excellent rushing stats from the third-year quarterback. So far, Tebow has thrown only one pass this season, a nine-yard completion to tight end Dedrick Epps.

9/13/2012 12:09:00 PM
Description: Quarterback Tim Tebow may want out of New York after the season according to the Daily News.
Insight: Mark Sanchez looked terrific in Week 1's win against Buffalo (3 TD, 1 INT, 266 yards) and if he continues to play at this level, Tebow probably won't see a whole lot of playing time in the coming weeks. It's hard to imagine Tebow demanding a trade given his selfless demeanor and team-first attitude, but certainly he'd have a more realistic chance at starting if he played for a different team.

Cold8/19/2012 6:42:00 PM
Description: Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has struggled this preseason. Through two games, the New York backup is 9-for-22 on pass attempts for 96 yards, no touchdowns and an interception.
Insight: Starter Mark Sanchez (13-for-17, 80 yards, zero TD, one INT) has been almost as inept as Tebow, making the New York quarterback situation one to stay away from in fantasy this season.

7/19/2012 12:59:00 PM
Description: Team insiders have reported that the Jets are planning to use backup quarterback Tim Tebow when they are in the red zone this season.
Insight: It sounds like Tebow (12 TDs, 6 INTs, 72.9 QB rating for Denver in 2011) will be getting plenty of goalline carries for New York this season, meaning that despite his diminished role as a passer, he could still have some decent fantasy upside.

3/23/2012 4:45:00 PM
Description: Tim Tebow Mania in New York will have to wait another 24 hours. The Jets/Broncos trade completed on Wednesday will not become official until 4 pm Saturday. Tebow had to sign a re-written contract with the Broncos because of a procedural issue. He'll stay on Denver's salary cap until the 4 pm deadline tomorrow.
Insight: Don't worry New York, Tebow will be a Jet soon enough. This is just a formality. Tebow is expected to be introduced in a press conference on Monday.

3/21/2012 9:26:00 PM
Description: It's official: Tim Tebow is a New York Jet. The Broncos will receive New York's fourth and sixth round draft picks while the Jets receive Tebow and a seventh-round pick.
Insight: We're not sure what the Jets are thinking here. Didn't they just give Mark Sanchez a contract extension? Tim Tebow is the backup for now but maybe Rex Ryan is planning on bringing back the wildcat and using Tebow that way. Mark Sanchez didn't play very well last year so it's possible Tebow could even earn the starting gig if he performs well enough in training camp.

3/21/2012 6:26:00 PM
Description: Tim Tebow's trade to the Jets has hit a snag. The issue is with a clause in Tebow's contract, which would require New York to pay Denver $5 million in addition to the fourth and sixth round picks the Jets had agreed to trade for Tebow.
Insight: Tebow to New York is on pause, and at this point, there's a good chance it might not happen. Suddenly, Tebow to Jacksonville has become a possibility again. We'll keep you posted on Tebow's status.

3/19/2012 4:40:00 PM
Description: If you retained Tim Tebow in your keeper league, today has been a rough one for you. It appears that Tebow's days as the starting QB in Denver are over.
Insight: Peyton Manning's signing with Denver seems inevitable and Tebow has few options. There doesn't seem to be any place for him to go where he can start and help your fantasy team next season. The Miami Dolphins might be your last hope for Tebow producing fantasy points in 2012.
