Many have Bargnani compared to Dirk Nowitzki with his foot work and soft hands...Runs the floor quite well for a player his size and is more than comfortable simply catching and shooting from almost anywhere on the court...Performs better while facing the basket, rather than backing opponents down in the paint and on the blocks...Like many Europeans, he has to work on being more physical while remaining fluid in his movements...Has been a standout player with Benetton Treviso even though he is still only 20 years of age...Missed parts of the 2004-05 campaign with an illness and still needs to work on his strength in order to compete against the more powerful players in the NBA, but is regarded as the top foreign import in this draft.
