Description: Heat forward Udonis Haslem won't compete in Monday night's game versus the Cavaliers. He's been nursing a sore ankle.
Insight: It's Haslem's fourth consecutive absence. He didn't even make the trip to Cleveland. Chris "Birdman" Anderson will absorb most of Haslem's minutes.

Description: Miami forward Udonis Haslem won't be on the court Wednesday versus the Wizards.
Insight: The team is calling it an ankle injury but it's probably just a day of rest. Haslem was pretty productive Tuesday night in a win over Milwaukee (10 points, 15 boards). Assuming he's back in the lineup Friday against Boston, Haslem will probably see a decent amount of playing time while the Big Three continues to rest.

2/20/2013 7:44:00 PM
Description: Heat forward Udonis Haslem has returned from a one-game absence and is ready to start Wednesday night's game against Atlanta.
Insight: Haslem sat out Thursday's game against the Thunder because of a bruised leg but he's now had almost a week to recover. Haslem isn't much of a scorer (just 3.7 ppg this season) but he can sometimes crack double-digit rebounds if given enough playing time.

2/18/2013 12:20:00 PM
Description: Miami power forward Udonis Haslem is probable for Wednesday's game against Atlanta with a bruised right leg.
Insight: Haslem (3.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg) gives the Heat a solid defensive presence, but has little fantasy value unless the Heat are missing a big man.

2/13/2013 11:50:00 AM
Description: Miami forward Udonis Haslem is questionable for Thursday's game against Oklahoma City with a bruised right leg.
Insight: Haslem (3.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg) gives the Heat a solid defensive presence, but has little fantasy value unless the Heat are missing a big man.

12/29/2012 9:19:00 PM
Description: Miami forward Udonis Haslem missed Saturday's game against the Bucks because of a bruised neck.
Insight: Haslem gives the Heat a solid defensive presence off the bench. Unfortunately, from a fantasy perspective, he's basically useless (4.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg).

12/12/2012 10:14:00 AM
Description: Miami Heat PF/C Udonis Haslem is probable for Wednesday's game against Golden State with flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Haslem (3.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg) doesn't give fantasy owners enough production off the bench to be fantasy-worthy.

5/24/2012 4:09:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem has been suspended for Thursday's Game 6 against the Pacers for his flagrant foul on Indiana forward Tyler Hansbrough in Game 5.
Insight: Haslem's suspension gives the Heat (already minus Chris Bosh) even less depth than usual, putting more pressure on Dwyane Wade and LeBron James to take over the game. We'll see how they respond in Game 6.

5/20/2012 6:34:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem had his best game of the playoffs Sunday in Game 4 against the Pacers. He notched 14 points on 5-6 shooting in 25 minutes of action.
Insight: Haslem had tallied just six points total through the series' first three games so Game 4's effort was a monumental improvement. He was especially clutch in the final quarter, where he scored eight of his 14 points. Haslem also grabbed four rebounds in the Heat's 101-93 win. He's averaging 3.1 ppg in the nine playoff games he's played in.

4/15/2012 1:03:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem has returned from his stomach virus and will be in the Heat's starting lineup Sunday when they take on the Knicks.
Insight: With Haslem healthy again, Joel Anthony will likely be relegated to the bench.

4/13/2012 7:18:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem will not be available for the Heat's game against the Bobcats Friday night. Haslem has a stomach virus.
Insight: Haslem was forced to exit last night's game in Chicago with this same illness. The Heat's lineup will be pretty depleted tonight when they take on Charlotte. But then again, the Bobcats have lost 14 games in a row, so it shouldn't matter.

4/1/2012 3:31:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem, who was unavailable Friday night because of a family matter, will be in uniform this afternoon against the Celtics.
Insight: Expect the Heat power forward to log good minutes and put up solid rebounding numbers in his return to the Miami lineup.

3/30/2012 5:50:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem will not play tonight against Toronto because of personal reasons. Haslem should be able to play Sunday against Boston.
Insight: Haslem has been scoring at a higher rate lately. His 10.2 ppg in his last five games is well above Haslem's season average of 6.4. You add that to his already impressive rebounding numbers (7.4 rpg) and you've got a pretty solid fantasy power forward. Expect that production to return to your lineup on Sunday.

5/20/2011 6:30:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem rested his surgically-repaired foot on Friday and skipped practice . SOURCE: ESPN.com
Insight: Haslem certainly earned the day off today and there is likely no player that is more happy that Game 3 is not until Sunday than Haslem. He gives Miami new depth in the frontcourt and Miami is looking like the favorite after Wednesday's showing.

5/18/2011 10:44:00 PM
Description: Udonis Haslem returned from six-month hiatus of irrelevance with one of the most impressive outings off the bench with his stat line of 13 points, five boards, a steal, and a block.
Insight: The stats don't really tell the story. Haslem was a big factor in defensive rotation and made it a lot tougher for Chicago to get the ball where they wanted for most of the second half. There's really no way to understate the impact Haslem had in this game and when many people said Miami lacks depth up front, they just closed the gap a bit tonight.

3/29/2011 9:02:00 PM
Description: The Palm Beach Post reports that Haslem appears unlikely to return during the regular season.
Insight: The veteran forward worked out on Tuesday, but the team has announced no set timetable for a return to action. Forget about him for 2011 fantasy, in case you haven't already. (RapidDraft.com)

11/30/2010 10:04:00 AM
Description: Haslem told the AP that he intends on returning in March or April of this season. The Heat would not be able to get an injury exemption if Haslem returns.
Insight: There's little reason to hold onto Haslem in fantasy leagues because he won't be back for three or four months. You can pick him up when (and if) he does return. (RapidDraft.com)

11/24/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Haslem might be out for the rest of the season after surgery on a torn ligament in his foot.
Insight: According to the AP report, Haslem ruptured the Lisfranc ligament in his foot, which connects arch bones to the ones leading to his toes. His rehab could take more than four months and the Heat may ask for an injury exemption. 11/22/2010 9:04:00 AM
Description: An MRI revealed that Haslem has a torn ligament in his foot and he will be out at least six weeks. He also has a dislocated toe.
Insight: Haslem was the Heat's leading rebounder at 8.2 boards, so LeBron James may be called upon to play more power forward, which would help his poor rebounding totals. Erick Dampier's name has also surfaced again. (RapidDraft.com)
