Insight: Granderson is struggling this spring, batting just .135 through the first 10 games after batting an ugly .157 in spring training. He's always been a slow start, so don't give up on the slugger just yet, but don't start him on Saturday.

Description: The Mets have agreed to terms with outfielder Curtis Granderson, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Insight: He'll make $60 million over four seasons. It's a nice signing for the Mets, but fantasy owners aren't going to like him playing in spacious Citi Field. Granderson averaged 36 homers from 2010-2012 in Yankee Stadium, but 23 homers in Detroit from 2006-2009. Fantasy owners and Mets fans should expect power totals more in line with his Detroit days, but without the speed.

Insight: With Jacoby Ellsbury playing center field and Robinson Cano still unsigned, Granderson is no longer a priority for the Yankees. The two sides are discussing a three-year contract though Granderson's camp is pushing for a four-year pact. With the Winter Meetings coming up, Granderson should make his decision in the near future.
