Description: The return of Grady Sizemore spelled the end (for now) of Travis Bucks' days as a Cleveland Indian. He was optioned to AAA to make room for Sizemore, who to the delight of fantasy and Indian fans alike, is finally healthy enough to play. Analysis Buck wasn't providing huge value in fantasy anyway. As for Grady, I would suggest waiting (yes, despite his HR last night) a bit to let him get in the right hitting groove. Unless your OF is less than stellar, of course.

Description: The Indians purchased the contract of Travis Buck.
Insight: A fresh start might do Buck some good. He always struggled to break through in Oakland. Usually injuries or slumps got in the way. He will be a reserve OF for the Indians, at least until Grady Sizemore comes off the DL.

Description: Buck knocked a pair of home runs Tuesday to double his spring total to four. That accompanies a scorching .435 average.
Insight: We all know there are spring studs every year that don't translate it to the regular season. At the same time, there are fantasy leagues of such varying depths that Buck should be worth a look in at least some AL-only outposts. The worst that happens is you dump a late pick for someone else. Description: MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports the Indians are close to agreeing to a minor league deal with Bucj.
Insight: Buck hit just .167 over 42 at-bats with Oakland in 2010, but is still just 27 years old and could find a role with the Indians if he can make the team. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Travis Buck is expected to a sign a minor league contract with Cleveland. SOURCE: JORDAN BASTIAN
Insight: He will get a spring training invite but may not be able to make the team. He had several chances to break through in Oakland but couldn't put it all together. This could be his last chance.

Description: The A's have non-tendered Edwin Encarnacion, Travis Buck and Jack Cust.
Insight: All players are likely looking at minor league deals somewhere. Encarnacion has the best shot at a major league contract but his power is offset by his poor defense.

Description: Travis Buck will be sent down before Oakland's next game. SOURCE: SUSAN SLUSSER ON TWITTER
Insight: Buck has had several short chances to stick with the A's but has never been able to put it all together. He will be back in September but might not play enough to make an impact.

Description: Buck is expected to return to the lineup shortly for the A's.
Insight: Buck had been resting after dealing with dizziness. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Buck went 2-for-3 with a homer and a double in a Spring Training game against the Padres.
Insight: Buck currently tops the A's depth chart at right field and could be in for a nice bounce back season. His 2008 was fraught with injury, but he managed to seven homers in 155 at bats. Keep an eye on him. (SportsBuff.com)
