The PGA Tour travels to Georgia this week for The McGladrey Classic at the Seaside Course in Sea Island, Georgia. Ten of the top-40 players in the world are competing this week, led by world No. 9 and 2010 money champion Matt Kuchar. He is joined in the field by Webb Simpson, who is second on the money list this year. Simpson trails Luke Donald by $68,970 for the money lead. Also playing this week is 2010 U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell and Rickie Fowler, who is coming off his first professional victory last week at the Korea Open on the Korean Tour.

This is the third event of the Fall Series. Kevin Na captured the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open two weeks ago and Bryce Molder won the Open last week.

Sea Island resident Davis Love III is in the field and will be the tournament host. Love will serve as captain to the United States Ryder Cup team next year.

The Seaside Course is ranked as one of the top-100 courses in the United States by Golf Digest. It is situated on the southern tip of St. Simons Island and is a true oceanside course. Seaside was originally built as a nine-hole course by Colt and Alison in 1929. Joe Lee designed the Marshside nine in 1973. Tom Fazio transformed the two nines into the current Seaside Course in 1999. The tournament sponsor, McGladrey, is one of the country's leading accounting, tax and business consulting firms.

Last year, Heath Slocum made a key 60-foot birdie putt from off the 16th green to win by one shot over Bill Haas. With a sturdy stroke, Slocum sent his ball motoring toward the hole from the far side of the green. The putt, traveling too fast for all its 20 yards, was stopped dead in its tracks by the flag stick and dropped into the cup.

Next week, the PGA Tour will finish up the Fall Series with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic in Florida, where Robert Garrigus captured the 2010 title.
