NOTES:
The European Tour travels to Malaysia this week for the Iskandar Johor Open. This is the fifth year of this tournament but first on the European Tour. This event is being co-sanctioned with the Asian Tour.

There is only one top-50 player playing this week - 2010 British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen (37). However, there are eight players ranked in the top-100. Joining Oosthuizen are American Anthony Kim (70), Jamie Donaldson (80), three- time major champion Padraig Harrington (83), Ross Fisher (85), Joost Luiten (93), Raphael Jacquelin (98) and Fredrik Andersson Hed (100).

This is the last of three new events on the 2011 European Tour. Paul Casey won the Volvo Golf Champions in Bahrain in January and Raphael Jacquelin captured the Sicilian Open in March.

Due to heavy rain, this year's event will be played as a par-71. The par four fourth hole has been changed to a par three. The venue usually plays as a par-72, 6,857 yards long.

The European Tour returns next week for the South African Open, where Ernie Els captured the title last year. Players will also be in China for the OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup, where Edoardo and Francesco Molinari of Italy won in 2009.
