| NOTES | | | For the second time in the 2011 European Tour season, the Alfred Dunhill
Championship will take place. The first edition was contested in December of
last year, but counted toward the 2011 European Tour schedule. Pablo Martin
successfully defended his title in December and will go for a third straight
on Thursday. He nearly blew a five-shot lead on the back nine, but held on
for the two-shot win over Anthony Micheel, Thorbjorn Olesen and Masters
champion Charl Schwartzel. There is no television coverage. Next week is both
the South African Open Championship and the World Cup of Golf.
