NOTES
After a brief break, the European Tour is back with its last event in Asia for a little while. No Malaysian player has won this championship since its inception in 1961. Danny Chia, Iain Steel and Ben Leong lead the charge, although none is a household name. American Anthony Kang earned his first European Tour win and his first victory anywhere in eight years in 2009. He fired a five-under 67 on Sunday to come from behind for the title. The Golf Channel has tape-delayed coverage of all four rounds. Next week, the best of the European Tour are headed to Doral for the WGC-CAChampionship. In two weeks, it will be the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco as the tour inches closer to its European debut at the end of March.
