Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Jeff Godfrey threw one touchdown pass and ran for another score as he and the UCF Knights recorded a convincing 41-0 win over the Memphis Tigers in a Conference USA clash at Bright House Networks Stadium.

Godfrey completed 14-of-17 passes for 200 yards and also registered a game- high 97 rushing yards on 10 carries for the Knights (4-4, 2-2 C-USA) as they snapped a two-game slide and won for just the second time in the last six outings. Brynn Harvey (78 yards), Ronnie Weaver (41) and Quincy McDuffie (29) also scored a touchdown on the ground as well, the latter posting three catches for 49 yards and a TD.

The Tigers (2-7, 1-4), losers of five of their last six outings, were led by Taylor Reed who connected on 9-of-20 passes for 97 yards, but was sacked three times which took the team's overall net rushing total down to a mere 33 yards on 21 attempts.

Godfrey kicked off the day's scoring with a 29-yard TD run on the first possession of the afternoon. With under one minute remaining in the opening frame McDuffie crossed the goal line from 19 yards away to make the score 14-0 heading into the second period.

Midway through the second it was Weaver who took off on a 16-yard TD run, giving the Knights a 21-0 edge at the break.

Kicker Shawn Moffitt got in on the act in the third quarter with a successful 35-yard field goal, while Godfrey and McDuffie hooked up on a 25-yard TD pass play at the 4:03 mark of the stanza.

A 39-yard field goal by Moffitt and a two-yard TD run by Harvey late in the fourth quarter completed the scoring onslaught for the hosts.

Memphis, which entered the week ranked 106th in the nation in scoring defense with 34.0 ppg allowed, was also 118th in the country with 494.1 ypg allowed overall, just slightly under the 505 yards produced by the Knights.
