NCAA Game Summary - Louisiana at UL-Monroe

Final Score: Louisiana 23, UL-Monroe 22
Monroe, LA (Sports Network) - Chris Masson threw for 330 yards and two
touchdowns to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to a 23-22 victory over the UL-
Monroe Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference tussle at Malone Stadium.
Ladarius Green caught one of Masson's touchdown passes and finished the game
with 120 yards on six receptions for Louisiana (3-9, 3-5 SunBelt).
Kolton Browning threw for 164 yards and one score for ULM (5-7, 4-4), but also
tossed an interception on 17-of-37 passing.
The Warhawks struck first, as Browning connected with Keavon Milton with a
one-yard scoring strike.
UL-Monroe added a 34-yard field goal by Radi Jabour to extended its lead to
10-0.
Brett Baer added a 25-yard boot late in the first quarter, sending the Cajuns
into the second stanza down 10-3.
Seconds into the second stanza, Jabour connected on a 40-yard kick, pushing
ULM's lead back to 10 points.
Midway through the second quarter Masson connected with Aaron Spikes on a 73-
yard touchdown. It was the last score on the first half, as the Warhawks
managed to head into the break with a 13-10 lead.
That lead, however, did not last for long, as the Cajuns scored 13 straight
points in the third quarter.
Baer connected on field goals of 31 and 32 yards, respectively, and those
kicks were followed by a five-yard touchdown pass from Masson to Green.
The Warhawks fought back in the final stanza, beginning with a 28-yard field
goal by Jabour.
Later in the fourth quarter Browning broke free and found the end zone on a
10-yard run. However, the extra point by Jabour was blocked, leaving the
Warhawks down by one-point.
Louisiana was able to hold on to that slim lead for the remainder of the
contest.
