Final Score: Boston College 16, Clemson 10

Chestnut Hill, MA (Sports Network) - Montel Harris carried the ball 36 times for 142 yards to lead the Boston College Eagles to a 16-10 victory over the Clemson Tigers in an ACC clash at Alumni Stadium.

Quarterback Chase Rettig orchestrated the Eagles' (3-5, 1-4 ACC) offense, completing 9-of-16 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown.

Kyle Parker led the way for a struggling Clemson (4-4, 2-3) offense, completing 21-of-39 pass attempts for 176 yards and two interceptions.

The Clemson defense put the first points of the day on the board when Rashard Hall picked off an errant Rettig pass and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown.

Nate Freese made it a 7-3 game on the Eagles' ensuing drive with a 21-yard field goal.

Clemson answered the call on its next drive with a 31-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro.

Boston College outscored Clemson 13-0 in the second quarter. Freese had a 36- yard field goal, and that was followed by a 36-yard touchdown pass from Rettig to Harris.

Freese ended the first half with another 36-yard field goal as time expired that gave the Eagles a 16-10 advantage. Surprising, that kick marked the game's final points.

Boston College was stifling on defense, limiting the Tigers to just 262 yards of total offense.
