Baylor offense rolls in rout of Buffalo
Waco, TX (Sports Network) - Bryce Petty racked up 338 passing yards and two touchdowns while Lache Seastruck rushed for three scores as 23rd-ranked Baylor routed Buffalo, 70-13, at Floyd Casey Stadium.
Petty completed 13-of-16 passes and Seastrunk carried 17 times for 150 yards along with his three scores. Shock Linwood gained 76 yards and two touchdowns on the ground for the Bears (2-0), while Tevin Reece and Antwan Goodley each reeled in four catches and a touchdown and gained 130 and 124 yards, respectively.
Baylor's potent offensive attack was on display once again after they downed Wofford, 69-3, in the season opener last week. The Bears gained a school-record 781 yards of total offense and extended their winning streak at home to six games dating back to last season.
Joe Licata threw for 214 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 10- of-16 passing for Buffalo (0-2), which fell to 0-4 all-time against programs from the Big 12. Alex Neutz caught six passes for 197 yards and a score.
