Riders' Durant headlines CFL's top players

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant was among those selected as the top players in the CFL for Week 4 of the 2013 season.

Durant picked up the offensive award after throwing for 347 yards with four touchdowns in Saskatchewan's 37-0 rout of Hamilton. He leads the CFL this season with 12 touchdown passes.

Roughriders linebacker Renauld Williams was picked as the top defensive player. He had two sacks and three tackles in the whitewash of the Tiger-Cats.

One other Roughrider, receiver Rob Bagg, was chosen as the top Canadian for the week. He had five catches for 125 yards with a pair of touchdowns, including a 60-yarder, in the shutout.

Calgary kicker Rene Paredes was the only non-Roughrider honored this week. He took the special teams award after going 4-for-4 on field goals with a pair of converts in the Stampeders' 38-27 win over Montreal.
