Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Allen Crabbe scored a game-high 20 points as the California Bears dismissed the Denver Pioneers, 72-61, at Magness Arena.
Crabbe has scored at least 20 points in each game this season for Cal (3-0). Justin Cobbs netted 17 and David Kravish tallied a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Ricky Kreklow and Robert Thurman added 10 points apiece.
For Denver (1-2), Brett Olson shot 5-of-9 from three-point range en route to 17 points, while Chris Udofia logged 16 points and 10 boards. Royce O'Neale stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, eight boards, four assists, four steals, and a block.
Neither team shot greater than 37 percent from the field in the opening half as the Bears took a slim 29-28 lead into intermission.
