Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - C.J. Leslie scored 21 points and brought down 11 rebounds as the North Carolina State Wolfpack held of the Miami-Florida Hurricanes 77-73 in an Atlantic Coast Conference thriller at the RBC Center.

Lorenzo Brown finished with 16 points for North Carolina State (19-11, 8-7 ACC) which desperately needed a win after losses in its last four. Scott Wood went 5-of-10 from three point range and scored 15 points while Richard Howell chipped in 14 points as well.

The second half was just as tight as the first with the game tied 69-69 with just over a minute remaining. Wood then connected on a three pointer with 1:08 remaining to put the Wolfpack ahead 72-69. Miami-Florida threatened during the final minute but Leslie sank a free throw after a missed attempt by Miami-Florida to tie the game that put the contest out of reach with just a few seconds left on the clock.

North Carolina State shot an even 50.0 percent from the floor in the game while Miami-Florida won the battle of the boards by a 45-39 margin.
