NCAA Game Summary - UNC Greensboro at Miami-Florida

Coral Gables, FL (Sports Network) - Kenny Kadji had a career night for Miami- Florida as the Hurricanes outlasted upset-minded UNC Greensboro, 99-89, in non-conference action at BankUnited Center.

Kadji had career highs in points (30) and rebounds (12) to pace the Hurricanes (9-4) in their fourth straight win. Shane Larkin scored 18 points off the bench, with starters Durand Scott (17) and Trey McKinney Jones (11) the other Hurricane players in double figures.

On the other side, UNC Greensboro (2-13) also had a player score a career high in points as Trevis Simpson delivered 36 points, the second time he has scored over 30 in a game in his career. Kyle Randall added 12 points off the bench and David Williams chipped in 11. Drew Parker had an impressive game passing the ball with a season-high 10 assists, but still UNCG lost a 10th straight game.

Both teams got off to hot starts offensively, trading buckets on the way to a 49-49 deadlock at halftime. UNCG shot 16-of-29 from the floor in the half, including a blistering 8-of-12 from beyond the arc. Miami shot 16-of-32 from the floor in the first 20 minutes.

In the second half UNCG fell off pace allowing Miami to pull ahead. The Spartans shot 16-of-37 in the second half for a respectable 43.2 percent from the floor but it couldn't match the 55.6 percent (15-of-27) shooting of the Hurricanes. Led by Kadji, Miami also dominated the boards by a 38-29 margin in the game.

Kadji's previous career high came earlier this season when he scored 21 in a win over Florida Atlantic. His previous rebounding high was 10 which he has done twice this season.
