NCAA Game Summary - Boston University vs. Cleveland State

Kingston, RI (Sports Network) - D'Aundary Brown and Anton Grady each scored 14 points to lead the Cleveland State Vikings to a 63-62 victory over the Boston University Terriers in a game that was part of the Legends Classic at the Ryan Center.
Aaron Pogue dropped in 11 points and Trevon Harmon pulled down 11 rebounds for the Vikings (5-0). Cleveland State will move on to play Hofstra on Sunday in the final game of the Kingston Sub Regional.
The Terriers (0-4) were led by Darryl Partin who finished with 24 points and eight rebounds. Patrick Hazel added 15 points and eight rebounds, while D.J. Irving scored 13 in the loss.
The Terriers led 24-20 at half after holding Cleveland State to just 28.6 percent shooting in the opening twenty minutes.
Boston University led by as many as 11 points with less than 10 minutes to play before CSU began to cut into the lead. The Terriers still led by four with just 13 seconds left in the game, but Harmon knocked down a three-pointer for the Vikings and Jeremy Montgomery was able to make a steal and then hit two free throws to put the Vikings ahead for good. Irving missed a three- point shot at the buzzer that would have given the Terriers their first win of the season.
CSU was able to pull out the victory despite shooting just 33.8 percent from the field. The Vikings won the game by taking 25 more shots than the Terriers and also making the most of their 20 offensive rebounds by converting them into 14 second chance points. CSU's bench also outscored their counterparts, 23-0.
The Terriers spent a good amount of time at the foul line but failed to take advantage, making just 28-of-44 free throws. The Vikings were much more efficient at the charity stripe, making 12 of its 13 opportunities.
