NCAA Game Summary - UC Riverside at Alaska-Anchorage

Anchorage, AK (Sports Network) - A jumper by Teancum Stafford in the final minute was key as the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves held on to defeat the UC Riverside Highlanders, 66-65, in the second round of the Great Alaska Shootout at the Sullivan Arena.
Kyle Fossman and Jalen Little each had a team-high 14 points for the Seawolves (5-1), who will play Loyola Marymount in Saturday's fifth-place game. Stafford also scored in double figures for the hosts with 10 points, including the clutch bucket to seal the win.
For the Highlanders (1-5), Chris Patton scored 16 points to go with eight rebounds. Chris Harriel and Austin Quick chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.
UAA's bench stepped up in the first half, outscoring UC Riverside's bench, 22-4, to give the Seawolves a 37-32 lead at the halfway point.
The Highlanders got hot in the second half and held a 10-point lead with eight minutes left in the game, but a 16-5 run by the Seawolves would solidify the victory.
UAA won despite being outrebounded by a 37 to 28 margin. UC Riverside was hindered by a poor shooting night from beyond the arc (4-of-14).
