Final Score: Georgia State 82, Texas-San Antonio 71

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Devonta White and Rashaad Richardson scored 16 points each as the Georgia State Panthers downed the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners 82-71 in a BracketBuster clash at GSU Arena.

Eric Buckner scored 14 points for the Panthers (19-9), who have won five of their last six. Jihad Ali added 13 points and James Fields 10. Buckner and Josh Micheaux each grabbed eight rebounds. Micheaux also dealt out 11 assists.

Kannon Burrage topped the Roadrunners (15-12) with 21 points. Michael Hale III added 18 points and five assists, but Texas-San Antonio still lost its third straight. Jeromie Hill and Stephen Franklin each collected five rebounds.

Georgia State led 45-38 at halftime after shooting a sizzling 56.3 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. The Roadrunners shot 40.7 percent from the field in the frame.

The Panthers led by as many as 19 in the second half.

Georgia State scored 38 of its 82 points in the paint.
