Berbatov wraps up Monaco loan
Fontvieille, Monaco (SportsNetwork.com) - Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov will spend the rest of the season on loan at Ligue 1 side Monaco after completing the move on Friday.
Berbatov joined Fulham prior to the start of last season and enjoyed a successful first campaign at Craven Cottage, netting 15 goals.
But the 33-year-old has struggled to duplicate that form this term, scoring just four goals in 18 Premier League matches as the Cottagers sit in the relegation places.
The addition of Berbatov will help to fill the void left by the season-ending injury to striker Radamel Falcao, who led the team with nine goals before sustaining a torn ACL.
