Description: Wideout Jerricho Cotchery has agreed to a two-year deal with Carolina. SOURCE: Ian Rapoport, NFL.com
Insight: Cotchery is the most talented receiver on the current Panthers roster, which definitely isn't saying much. He can be a solid No. 2 guy, but Cotchery's fantasy value will be limited in Carolina if he's covered by the opposition's best CB every week.

11/17/2013 5:31:00 PM
Description: Steelers wideout Jerricho Cotchery has hauled in five touchdowns over the last three games.
Insight: Cotchery has only reached five touchdown for an entire season twice in his career before 2013. He now has a career-high seven scores and will remain a touchdown-or-bust fantasy option.

11/23/2012 2:10:00 PM
Description: Steelers wideout Jerricho Cotchery will miss the game with Cleveland due to a rib injury.
Insight: Emmanuel Sanders will likely start opposite Mike Wallace but with the Steelers down to their third-string quarterback, Charlie Batch, no receiver is a great option this week.

11/7/2012 11:07:00 AM
Description: Steelers wideout Jerricho Cotchery will move up to No. 3, if as expected, Antonio Brown can't play against Kansas City Monday night.
Insight: Emmanuel Sanders will start opposite Mike Wallace and will be viable fantasy option, but Cotchery has just eight catches this season for 92 yards and we still don't think he'll see enough targets.

4/12/2012 4:18:00 PM
Description: Jerricho Cotchery has signed on to play two more seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Insight: Cotchery had been considering other avenues earlier in free agency including St. Louis but ultimately decided he'd rather stay with the black and gold. With Hines Ward's retirement and a possible Mike Wallace trade on the horizon, Cotchery and Emmanuel Sanders could be battling it out for the No. 2 receiver spot behind Antonio Brown (1,108 yards in 2011).

3/30/2012 8:20:00 PM
Description: Jerricho Cotchery is expected to visit the Rams some time next week.
Insight: Cotchery was way down on Pittsburgh's receiving depth chart last year and it hurt his fantasy stock (just 16 catches for 237 yards). It's doubtful that he'll revert back to the 2007 version of himself (career-high 1,130 yards), but Cotchery could still have a chance to reinvent himself playing alongside Sam Bradford in St. Louis next season. It's definitely an intriguing possibility.

1/24/2011 11:00:00 AM
Description: Cotchery caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
Insight: It was his first touchdown since Week 10 and just his third overall for the year. Cotchery provided limited production all year -- at one point due to a groin injury -- but proved with 10 catches over the past two playoff games that he remains a significant option for Sanchez. His ceiling will stay limited if Santonio Holmes returns, though, and Cotchery shouldn't be considered a strong fantasy play going forward. (RapidDraft.com)

12/13/2010 1:05:00 PM
Description: Cotchery led the team with five catches and 69 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. He also had a significant drop on the final possession.
Insight: Cotchery dropped a ball on the run that appeared likely to go for a long gain had he caught it. As it stands, he's no better than the second receiver option in a struggling offense. That doesn't bode well for fantasy right now. (RapidDraft.com)

11/22/2010 4:15:00 PM
Description: Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery is reportedly dealing with a second degree tear of his groin muscle. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Brad Smith and Patrick Turner will continue to take snaps going into Week Twelve.

11/20/2010 2:04:00 PM
Description: As expected, Cotchery has been ruled out for Week 11's matchup with the Texans.
Insight: This should only help the other receiving options find targets more easily. Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Dustin Keller all merit starter consideration in fantasy this week. (RapidDraft.com)

11/15/2010 4:35:00 PM
Description: Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery has been diagnosed with a "slight" groin tear. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Cotchery won't need surgery, but is expected to miss "at least" the next two games. His fantasy value was dwindling anyway, despite the touchdown reception against the Browns.

11/15/2010 11:04:00 AM
Description: Cotchery came away from Sunday's win over the Browns with a groin injury that Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News expects to cost him two games.
Insight: Cotchery caught three passes for 43 yards and a touchdown, including a diving catch right after he suffered the injury. This injury should only help Santonio Holmes find more targets. (RapidDraft.com)

10/3/2010 11:05:00 PM
Description: Cotchery caught just three balls for 26 yards in Sunday's game at Buffalo.
Insight: The veteran looked like the safest of the Jets' wideouts heading into the season, but his lack of work despite Mark Sanchez's improvement doesn't make him worth owning in the typical fantasy league. His value can only decrease when Santonio Holmes returns for Week 5. (RapidDraft.com)

6/19/2010 2:34:00 PM
Description: The Newark Star-Ledger calls Jericho Cotchery "a natural candidate to work on the slot position.
Insight: Cotchery should still retain his fantasy value despite the presence of Santonio Holmes. However, that value tends to be limited to PPR leagues only. (SportsBuff.com)

4/12/2010 8:03:00 PM
Description: Jerricho Cotchery is expected to be used more in the slot now with Santonio Holmes in the fold.
Insight: Cotchery's fantasy value should still be fine in PPR leagues. However, with another mouth to feed, you can expect his meager scoring levels to decline even further. (SportsBuff.com)

3/29/2010 7:42:00 PM
Description: Despite Cotchery's down year, beat writer Rich Cimini feels it's unlikely that the Jets will use their first round pick to select a wide receiver.
Insight: He played through injuries most of the year, so, if he can get healthy this season, he should be much better. Look for New York to draft a defensive player first. (SportsBuff.com)

1/25/2010 8:45:00 AM
Description: Cotchery had five catches for 102 yards against the Colts on Sunday.
Insight: Cotchery made some terrific catches as he topped 100-yards for only the second time all season. (SportsBuff.com)

1/18/2010 9:12:00 AM
Description: Cotchery had three catches for 25 yards and rushed one time for one yard on Sunday against the Chargers.
Insight: Cotchery did not have many receptions but he did have a few big ones that gave Jets' much needed first downs. (SportsBuff.com)

1/11/2010 8:44:00 AM
Description: Cotchery caught six passes for 67 yards on Saturday against the Bengals.
Insight: Cotchery continues to be Mark Sanchez' main target as he topped 60 yards yet again. (SportsBuff.com)

1/8/2010 8:27:00 PM
Description: Cotchery (hip) is listed as probable for Saturday's game.
Insight: He practiced in full on Friday, so he should be good to go. However, he has a tough matchup against the Bengals' excellent cornerback tandem of Johnathan Joseph and Leon Hall. (SportsBuff.com)
