Pittsburgh Steelers QB Terry Bradshaw dominated the first rematch in Super Bowl history, throwing for a career best 318 yards and four touchdowns for a record-setting third Super Bowl victory.

Dallas trailed by 18 points as it entered the fourth quarter. They closed to within four pointswith just 22 seconds remaining. However, Steeler running back Rocky Bleier recovered the onside kick to end the game.

Of interest in the game was Cowboys TE Jackie Smith, who despite being left all alone in the end zone, dropped a sure touchdown that would have tied the game in the third quarter. The Cowboyssettled for a FG and never caught up.
