Nets bounce back, blow out Nuggets
Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul Pierce netted 18 points and the Brooklyn Nets got back on track with a 112-89 drubbing of the Denver Nuggets on Thursday from Pepsi Center.
Brooklyn led wire-to-wire in this one after losing by 44 points to Portland on Wednesday. Joe Johnson, Mason Plumlee and Marcus Thornton all scored 10 points, with Shaun Livingston handing out a game-high eight assists.
All 13 players that took the court for the Nets notched at least three points, including recent signee Jason Collins, who made his only field goal.
Randy Foye notched 15 points while Kenneth Faried and J.J. Hickson each tallied 14 as Denver's forgettable month comes to an end. The Nuggets have lost three straight, eight of nine and finished February with a 3-8 mark.
