Description: Boston closer Koji Uehara blew his first save of the season Sunday, allowing two solo homers to blow a 6-4 lead, but the Red Sox scored in the top of the 10th to get Uehara his third win of the year.
Insight: Uehara allowed seven hits and walked three during a streak of 21 straight scoreless innings, but he's given up four hits (3 HR) and three runs in his last three innings. However, he won two games in that stretch and still has a 1.30 ERA and a 0.72 WHIP this season.

Insight: Prior to Danny Valencia's triple in the ninth inning, the Red Sox closer had retired 37 hitters in a row, four shy of Bobby Jenks' major league record for a relief pitcher. Even with the loss, Uehara's ERA is still barely over one (1.18). He's having a season for the ages and should be started in all formats.

Insight: Uehara had a 1.75 ERA and 0.64 WHIP in 36 innings with Texas a year ago but he missed a large portion of the season with a lat injury. He'll be a solid option in holds leagues and leagues with innings limits.

Insight: It's starting to look like Uehara's injury woes are going to cost him the closer job to open the season. Even though he entered spring training as the favorite, he would need to get into game action soon to keep Kevin Gregg and Mike Gonzalez in the eighth inning.
