Insight: Sanchez was struck in the calf by a line drive Monday in a rehab start but the injury wasn't significant enough to push back his return date. His last start in the major leagues came on June 15th against the Twins. He's been out with shoulder soreness.

Insight: He had to come out of the game. Sanchez (6-5, 2.76 ERA) was expected to return to the Tigers' rotation this weekend but obviously this injury will set him back a bit. He's a long shot to return before the All-Star break.
