5/8/2013 10:38:00 PM
Description: White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a steal and two runs scored Wednesday against the Mets.
Insight: It's a nice all-around effort from De Aza, who has six homers in his first 126 at-bats after hitting nine in 524 last season. However, De Aza's 30.1 percent strikeout rate limits will hold his batting average down.

4/21/2013 10:31:00 AM
Description: White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza is 5-for-29 over his last seven games, but three of his hits were home runs. He also will face Twins starter Scott Diamond Sunday, against whom he has five hits in 11 career at-bats.
Insight: De Aza already has four jacks in 65 at-bats after hitting nine in 524 last year, but he has struck out 19 times. However, Diamond doesn't have strikeout stuff and De Aza has a good chance at putting together a nice game on Sunday.

Cold9/16/2012 1:25:00 PM
Description: White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza is not in the lineup Sunday versus Minnesota.
Insight: De Aza is currently in the midst of a 3-for-25 slump. Dewayne Wise (.276, 8 HR, 24 RBI) will take over for De Aza in center field.

9/16/2012 10:55:00 AM
Description: Chicago center fielder Alejandro De Aza is a .455 lifetime hitter against Twins lefty Scott Diamond.
Insight: Look for De Aza (.273, 7 HR, 48 RBI) to bounce back Sunday after a tough game Saturday in Minnesota (0-for-5, four strikeouts).

8/28/2012 4:33:00 PM
Description: White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza (bruised ribcage) has been cleared to start a minor league rehab assignment, according to Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune.

8/22/2012 10:39:00 AM
Description: White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza is on the 15-day disabled list with a bruised left rib cage.
Insight: De Aza's (.281, 6 HR, 44 RBI, 21 SB) spot in the outfield is being taken by DeWayne Wise who is 6-for-10 in the current series with the Yankees and is a viable fantasy option (.299, 6 HR, 17 RBI).

8/20/2012 7:55:00 PM
Description: White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza has indicated that he is struggling with an oblique issue in addition to the back injury that has sidelined him since Friday. He's still out for Monday's game against New York.
Insight: Oblique injuries usually go hand in hand with the disabled list so it's unlikely we'll see De Aza (.281, 6 HR, 44 RBI, 21 SB) in uniform against the Yankees this week.

8/19/2012 3:55:00 PM
Description: Chicago center fielder Alejandro De Aza missed Sunday's series finale against the Royals because of an injured back. His status for the team's upcoming series against New York is uncertain.

8/7/2012 10:46:00 AM
Description: White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza is questionable for Tuesday's game against Kansas City with a sore left wrist.
Insight: De Aza (.289, 69 runs, 6 HR, 43 RBI) has gotten his first full season of work and been a solid contributor as the White Sox leadoff hitter. One drawback is his 20 stolen bases also comes with a league-leading eight times caught stealing.

Insight: De Aza (.287, 6 HRs, 42 RBIs, 20 SBs) struggled in July (.242, 1 HR, 9 RBIs) but he certainly started August off on the right foot. With his three-hit effort on Wednesday, De Aza was able to finish the series with seven hits in 13 at bats (.538).

7/28/2012 7:07:00 PM
Description: Chicago center fielder Alejandro De Aza is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Texas and he is doubtful for Sunday's game as well. De Aza sprained his wrist after colliding with teammate Alexei Ramirez on a play during Friday night's 9-5 win.
Insight: De Aza (.278) is having his best season as a big leaguer in 2012 and has already established new career highs in homers (six), RBIs (39) and stolen bases (18). For now, consider the 28-year-old day-to-day.

7/20/2012 10:37:00 PM
