Description: Phillies outfielder Jeff Francoeur had a pinch-hit RBI-single in the seventh to help the Phillies beat the Diamondbacks, 4-3, on Friday.
Insight: Grady Sizemore started the game in right field, but Francoeur pinch hit in the seventh. He was 1-for-1 with the RBI-single. Francoeur is hitting .217 with two home runs and 10 RBI this season.

5/15/2015 5:16:00 PM
Description: Phillies outfielder Jeff Francoeur is not in the lineup on Friday against the Diamondbacks.
Insight: Grady Sizemore is starting in right field. Francoeur appears to be just getting the day off. Francoeur is batting .207/.247/.354 with two home runs and nine RBI in 82 at-bats this season.

5/4/2015 10:26:00 PM
Description: Phillies outfielder Jeff Francoeur was 4-for-5 a double, triple, two RBI and a run in the, 5-2, victory over the Braves on Monday.
Insight: Francoeur had a RBI-double in the first and then a RBI-triple in the ninth. He also had two singles. Fancoeur, however, is not really fantasy relevant as he is hitting just .214 with two home runs and six RBI.

Insight: He was among Cleveland's final roster cuts this past weekend. Francoeur had a couple 100-RBI seasons in the mid 2000s but hasn't done much since then. Even in deeper leagues, you won't hear his name called on draft day.

Insight: He'll try to make the team out of spring training. 2013 was arguably Francoeur's worst season yet. In 81 combined games for the Giants and Royals, he tallied just three homers and 17 RBI. He hit 59 points below his career average (.263).

8/4/2013 9:58:00 AM
Description: Giants newly acquired outfielder Jeff Francoeur is coming off a three-hit game and facing a favorable matchup in Rays' starter Roberto Hernandez.
Insight: The Giants' outfielder is 5-for-13 (.385) with a pair of solo homers against Hernandez and could be worth a one-day flier.

7/30/2013 10:40:00 AM
Description: Giants newly acquired outfielder Jeff Francoeur is just 7-for-35 since arriving in the Bay area, but has a favorable matchup on Tuesday.
Insight: The Giants' outfielder is a stunning 15-for-28 (.536) with a 1.438 OPS in his career matchups versus Phillies starter John Lannan.

7/12/2013 10:01:00 PM
Description: Jeff Francoeur could make his Giants debut on Saturday.
Insight: The Giants are expected to call him up from Triple-A Fresno before the game. After spending his first five seasons with the Braves, Francoeur has now played for five teams in his last five seasons.

6/22/2013 10:06:00 AM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur is a stunning 6-for-8 against White Sox starter Jose Quintana with a 2.068 OPS.
Insight: Small sample size to be sure, but he obviously sees the ball well and should be given a one-day flier by fantasy owners, despite his .216 batting average.

Cold6/21/2013 12:52:00 PM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur (.214) has faced White Sox starter Hector Santiago six times and is hitless with five strikeouts.
Insight: Today would be an excellent opportunity to give David Lough more playing time.

5/26/2013 12:56:00 PM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur isn't listed in Sunday's starting lineup.
Insight: Francoeur didn't play on Saturday either. Until Francoeur (.222, 1 HR, 10 RBI) can earn regular at bats, there's no use having him in fantasy.

5/23/2013 12:14:00 PM
Description: It's always a welcome sight when Joe Blanton is on the mound, especially if Jeff Francoeur is on your fantasy team.
Insight: Francoeur carries a .429 lifetime average against the righthander. Make sure he's in your lineup on Thursday.

5/11/2013 10:23:00 AM
Description: Kansas City outfielder Jeff Francoeur, who was not in Friday night's starting lineup, should get the nod on saturday as he's a career .545 hitter versus Yankees starter Andy Pettitte.
Insight: Francoeur has yet to show his power, batting .234 with just one home run and nine RBI.

5/10/2013 4:45:00 PM
Description: Kansas City outfielder Jeff Francoeur is not in Friday night's starting lineup. Jarrod Dyson will get the start in center with Lorenzo Cain shifting to right field.
Insight: Francoeur has yet to show his power, batting .234 with just one home run and nine RBI, but installing Dyson likely won't help as he's hitless in six at-bats versus Yankees' starter Phil Hughes with five at-bats ending in strikeouts.

4/6/2013 9:58:00 AM
Description: Kansas City outfielder Jeff Francoeur, a career .266 hitter, becomes a .520 hitter (13-for-25) when facing Phillies starter John Lannan.
Insight: Francoeur has yet to show his power, batting .250 without an extra base hit over the first four games.

4/4/2013 12:31:00 PM
Description: Kansas City outfielder Jeff Francoeur usually has a good game when Gavin Floyd pitches.
Insight: He's a .400 hitter against Floyd for his career. If Francoeur has been buried on your bench this week, Thursday would be a good day to finally start him.

9/20/2012 10:51:00 AM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur comes into Thursday's game with an ugly .143 average in 14 lifetime at bats against White Sox starter Francisco Liriano.
Insight: Francoeur's second half has been a complete disaster (.205 average in 185 at bats). It's probably safe to drop the underachieving outfielder at this point.

9/16/2012 10:47:00 AM
Description: Kansas City outfielder Jeff Francoeur has posted a miserable .188 batting average in 16 previous encounters against Los Angeles starter Dan Haren.
Insight: Francoeur (.235, 13 HR, 40 RBI) has actually produced six RBI over his last eight games but we're not counting on him to contribute much Sunday versus Haren (10-11, 4.45 ERA).

Cold9/7/2012 1:50:00 PM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur is just a .167 hitter against White Sox lefty Francsico Liriano with two hits and five strikeouts.
Insight: Francoeur has not been able to repeat last year's .285, 20 HR, 87 RBI, .805 OPS season and is likely already on your bench or released, but if not, sit him against Liriano.

Cold8/29/2012 7:55:00 PM
Description: Royals right fielder Jeff Francoeur is getting the night off Wednesday against Detroit.
Insight: Francoeur is a baffling 3-for-34 (.088) over his last 10 contests and should be benched in all fantasy formats.
