(Sports Network) - The Baltimore Orioles shoot for a series win over the Chicago White Sox when the two clubs continue a four-game set Saturday afternoon at Camden Yards.
The Orioles won Thursday's series opener, 3-1, then took the second matchup Friday by a 4-0 score.
Chris Davis, Matt Wieters and Danny Valencia all homered, while Scott Feldman tossed a five-hit shutout. Feldman fanned three batters and walked one.
"It's my first shutout, so anytime something like that happens, it's something I'll always remember," Feldman said.
Baltimore and Cleveland are two games off the final wild card berth in the American League, with the New York Yankees 2 1/2 games off the pace.
Taking the mound for the Orioles Saturday will be Wei-Yin Chen, who is 7-7 with a 3.87 ERA in 18 starts. Chen is 1-4 in his last five decisions and 1-0 with a 2.38 ERA in two career starts against the White Sox.
Chicago is an AL-worst 24-50 on the road this season and has dropped eight in a row overall -- all on the road.
Jeff Keppinger and Paul Konerko had two hits apiece in Friday's loss and starting pitcher John Danks was dealt the defeat for giving up four runs across 5 1/3 innings. Danks served up three homers in falling to 4-12.
"We just couldn't get anything going," Chicago manager Robin Ventura said. "We got a couple of hits here and there, but nothing with anything on it."
Hector Santiago will take the mound for Ventura's club Saturday and he is 4-8 with a 3.43 ERA in 31 games (20 starts). In three career games (1 start) against the Orioles, Santiago is 0-0 with a 4.00 ERA.
Santiago is 1-3 in his previous four decisions,
Chicago took two of three from the Orioles earlier in the season.
