For The Last 15 Days

DeMar DeRozan, G/F, TOR4/19/2014 4:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan couldn't find his shot and went 3-for-13, including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc, in Game 1 versus Brooklyn.
Insight: DeRozan will have to produce as he did in the regular season (22.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.0 apg, 1.1 spg) if Toronto is to do anything in the series.
Joe Johnson, G/F, BRK4/19/2014 4:05:00 PM
Description: Nets G/F Joe Johnson was certainly ready for the start of the playoffs, putting up 24 points on 8-for-13 shooting with eight rebounds, four assists and a couple of steals.
Insight: He played close to 45 minutes which likely isn't sustainable if the Nets get past the first series, but we like his production.
Joe Johnson, G/F, BRK4/19/2014 11:05:00 AM
Description: Nets G/F Joe Johnson sat out Wednesday versus the Cavaliers, but he'll be ready for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Saturday against Toronto.
Insight: He was officially listed as having a calf injury though we know Jason Kidd was just resting his starter. Johnson finished the regular season averaging 15.8 ppg, 2.7 apg and 3.4 rpg in 79 appearances.
Shaun Livingston, G, BRK4/19/2014 11:01:00 AM
Description: Brooklyn guard Shaun Livingston practiced on Friday and is probable for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Saturday against Toronto.
Insight: He sat out the final five games of the regular season with a big toe injury to be ready for this game. He's not a great scorer, but is a solid low-end contributor (8.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 3.2 apg, 1.2 spg).
Landry Fields, G, TOR4/19/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields (illness) is probable for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Saturday against Brooklyn.
Insight: Fields is a non-factor in fantasy who is averaging just 11 minutes per game in the 30 contests he participated in.
Nick Calathes, G, MEM4/18/2014 8:27:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Nick Calathes has been handed a 20-game suspension effective immediately for violating the league's drug policy. SOURCE: Sam Amick, USA Today
Insight: He tested positive for Tamoxifen, a drug commonly associated with steroid use. Unless the Grizzlies make it to the finals, we won't be seeing Calathes (4.9 ppg) during this year's postseason.
Ty Lawson, G, DEN4/16/2014 9:39:00 PM
Description: Ty Lawson won't compete Wednesday in Denver's regular season finale versus Golden State. SOURCE: Chris Dempsey, Denver Post

Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey won't be available Wednesday against OKC. SOURCE: Mark Champion, Pistons radio play-by-play

Jeremy Lin, G, HOU4/16/2014 7:44:00 PM
Description: Houston guard Jeremy Lin won't be active for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. SOURCE: Craig Ackerman, Rockets play-by-play
Insight: Lin's scoring average is down for the third year in a row. With Patrick Beverley (10.2 ppg, 2.7 apg, 3.5 rpg) getting most of the minutes at point guard, Lin is a pretty unexciting fantasy option.
Marco Belinelli, G, SAN4/16/2014 6:51:00 PM
Description: Spurs G/F Marco Belinelli is resting Wednesday against the Lakers. SOURCE: Jeff McDonald, San Antonio Express-News
Insight: It's only Belinelli's second absence of the season. His three-point field goal percentage (43.0) ranks seventh in the NBA.

Insight: He's one of three Heat starters getting the night off. Chalmers (9.8 ppg, 4.9 apg) hasn't averaged double-digit points since his rookie season and has never been a particularly appealing fantasy option.
Deron Williams, G, BRK4/16/2014 6:07:00 PM
Description: Brooklyn will be without point guard Deron Williams Wednesday versus Cleveland. SOURCE: ESPN New York

Description: Heat guard Dwyane Wade will play on a minutes restriction Wednesday versus Philadelphia. SOURCE: South Florida Sun-Sentinel
Insight: We're not sure what that minutes restriction is, but it will probably be close to the 18 minutes he saw Monday against Washington. Wade (19.1 ppg, 4.7 apg, 4.5 rpg) has been in and out of the lineup for the last month because of hamstring issues.
Jameer Nelson, G, ORL4/16/2014 5:51:00 PM

Description: Nets shooting guard Marcus Thornton put in a game-high 24 points Tuesday in a loss to the Knicks.

C.J. Watson, G, IND4/15/2014 10:43:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson will not play in the final game of the regular season for rest purposes, according to Scott Agness of pacers.com.
Insight: Watson missed most of March and three games in April due to injuries. The Pacers may have realized how much they will need him in the postseason when he scored 20 points in 25 minutes Sunday against the Thunder.

Description: Indiana forward Paul George (rest) will not play in Wednesday's regular season finale, according to Scott Agness of pacers.com.

Description: Trail Blazers point guard Mo Williams might not play in Wednesday's regular season finale. SOURCE: Mike Tokito, The Oregonian
Insight: The Blazers have already locked up the No. 5 seed and have nothing to gain from winning Wednesday night's contest against the Clippers. Description: Nets point guard Deron Williams will play Tuesday against New York. SOURCE: Stefan Bondy, New York Daily News
Insight: He had been a game-time decision because of knee tendinitis. A win tonight will give Brooklyn the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference and a date with Chicago in the first round of the playoffs. The Bulls won in seven games when these teams met a year ago.
Joe Johnson, G/F, BRK4/15/2014 6:59:00 PM
Description: Brooklyn G/F Joe Johnson will be active for Tuesday night's game against the Knicks. SOURCE: Stefan Bondy, New York Daily News
Insight: There had been a rumor the Nets were thinking of resting their starters to try and get the No. 6 seed and a more favorable matchup with Toronto in the first round, though apparently that wasn't the case. A shooting guard for most of his career, Johnson has played primarily as a small forward this season. He leads the team in scoring at 15.8 ppg.
Goran Dragic, G, PHO4/15/2014 6:19:00 PM
Description: Now that Phoenix has been eliminated, the Suns will rest ailing point guard Goran Dragic Wednesday in the regular season finale. SOURCE: Matt Petersen, Suns.com

Description: Memphis point guard Mike Conley injured his right hamstring in Monday's win, but played through the pain.

Deron Williams, G, BRK4/15/2014 12:02:00 PM
Description: Brooklyn guard Deron Williams along with most of the Nets are game-time decision as the team rests up for the playoffrs.
Insight: The Nets have an "old" roster with six players 30-years-old or older, so this isn't a surprise. Starting any of the veterans on Tuesday will be a risky play. Marquis Teague, Marcus Thornton and Mason Plumlee could play big minutes.

Description: Nets guard Shaun Livingston is not expected to play on Tuesday, according to Tim Bontempts of the New York Post.

Description: Pelicans guard Austin Rivers was ejected from Monday's game against Oklahoma City for getting into an altercation with Nick Collison.
Insight: Collison was also ejected. The Pelicans were already extremely thin at the guard position with Jrue Holiday, Brian Roberts and Eric Gordon all out. They'll need Tyreke Evans (knee), who was a late addition to the starting lineup, to handle the point and will give more minutes to Anthony Morrow.
Steve Nash, G, LAL4/14/2014 8:19:00 PM
Description: Lakers guard Steve Nash (nerve irritation) will not play Monday and is doubtful for the final game of the season Wednesday, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Description: New Orleans swingman Tyreke Evans wasn't expected to play Monday but he started against the Thunder.
Insight: A knee injury limited him to just 21 minutes Friday night and he didn't play on Saturday. His return bumped Anthony Morrow to the bench, though Morrow should still see close to 30 minutes.

Description: Spurs guard Danny Green (rest) is getting the night off Monday against Houston, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Description: New Orleans swingman Tyreke Evans isn't expected to play Monday, according to Jim Eichenhofer of pelicans.com.
Insight: A knee injury limited him to just 21 minutes Friday night and he didn't play on Saturday. With Brian Roberts also out, look for Austin Rivers and Anthony Morrow to play most of the minutes in New Orleans' backcourt with Darius Miller and Al-Farouq Aminu splitting time at small forward.
