For The Last 365 Days

Jonas Valanciunas, C3/4/2015 10:21:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas recorded a big double-double versus the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Insight: Valanciunas had 26 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 12-for-17 from the field and also had two blocks and an assist. Valanciunas is averaging 11.9 ppg and 8.7 rpg this season.
Kyle Lowry, G3/4/2015 7:23:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will miss Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers.
Insight: Toronto is calling it "rest" but Lowry has a hand injury. Lowry should be considered questionable for Friday's game versus the Hornets. Greivis Vazquez will start for the third straight game.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F3/2/2015 9:22:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was fantastic during Monday's victory against the 76ers.
Insight: He went 12-of-24 from the floor and 10-of-10 from the line for 35 points, nine rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer, two steals, and two turnovers. DeRozan is still ranked outside the top 130 however.
Kyle Lowry, G3/2/2015 6:06:00 PM
Description: The Raptors confirmed guard Kyle Lowry (rest) will not play on Monday night.
Insight: Lowry should be back out there next time Toronto takes the court. Grevis Vasquez will start in his place, and will be a solid daily option.
Kyle Lowry, G3/2/2015 2:06:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry did not play versus the Knicks on Saturday and will miss Monday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: Lowry said he is dealing with multiple issues. The team would rather he be healthy for the playoffs than a regular season games against the 13-46 Sixers.
Lou Williams, SG2/28/2015 10:19:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Lou Williams was just 2-for-10 from the 3-point line, but he still led Toronto with 22 points on Saturday.
Insight: Williams was 6-for-16 from the field overall. He was 8-of-9 at the line as well. Williams won't produce many other numbers, on Saturday he had three assists, two rebounds and a block, but if owners need scoring, he can provide some particularly on great 3-point shooting nights.
Amir Johnson, F2/28/2015 8:03:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson is starting versus the Knicks as Patrick Patterson will come off the bench on Saturday.
Insight: Johnson still remains only a desperate pickup for standard league owners. Kyle Lowry is also not starting for Toronto, but he isn't playing at all.
Greivis Vasquez, G2/28/2015 7:06:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez will start in place of the banged up Kyle Lowry on Saturday versus the Knicks.
Insight: Although it was a year ago, Vasquez hit six 3-pointers on his way to 26 points the last time Lowry missed a game. Vasquez is a great plug-in option on Saturday versus the bad Knicks.
Kyle Lowry, G2/28/2015 7:02:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will not play versus the Knicks on Saturday in order to receive some extra rest.
Insight: Lowry suffered a minor injury on Friday and played through it but against the lowly Knicks, coach Dwane Casey has decided to rest him. Although fantasy owners don't like seeing him banged up, Lowry didn't have a good February, averaging 11.9 ppg, 5.3 apg, 0.9 spg while shooting 34.2 percent from the field. Maybe the rest will help him.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/27/2015 10:10:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan shot very poorly from the field during Friday's loss versus Golden State.
Insight: He went 4-of-16 from the floor, but did go 6-of-6 from the line for 14 points, three boards, and three turnovers.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/24/2015 10:51:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored a team-high 18 points during Tuesday's loss against the Mavericks.
Insight: He shot just 7-of-21 from the field, and also had four assists, three boards, and three turnovers. DeRozan should still be active in all lineups.
Patrick Patterson, F2/24/2015 7:43:00 PM
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson will play on Tuesday against the Mavericks.
Insight: Patterson didn't play Monday due to a sprained knee, but he returns after missing just one game. He is averaging 8.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, and 1.4 3-pointers per game this season.
Kyle Lowry, G2/23/2015 10:32:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry didn't shoot all that well on Monday but still scored 22 points in the loss against the Pelicans.
Insight: Lowry was 8-of-19 from the field and just 1-for-6 at the 3-point line. He also had five assists and three steals as he led Toronto in all three categories: points, assists and steals. It was nice to see Lowry have a good scoring night as he has averaged just 13.2 ppg over the last five games.
Lou Williams, SGHot2/23/2015 1:49:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Lou Williams (ankle) missed Saturday's contest against the Rockets, but is probable for Monday versus New Orleans.
Insight: Williams is averaging 15.4 ppg, but has posted 26 and 27 points in his previous two games. Hopefully, he hasn't lost his shooting touch (he was 17-of-30).
Lou Williams, SG2/21/2015 8:00:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Lou Williams (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Saturday's contest against the Rockets.
Insight: Williams apparently suffered the injury late in Friday's game versus Atlanta. Greivis Vasquez and Terrence Ross will see additional time, but it's unlikely that either could match the 26 and 27 point games Williams has posted in the last two contests.
Lou Williams, SG2/21/2015 6:30:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Lou Williams (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday's contest against the Rockets.
Insight: Williams apparently suffered the injury late in Friday's game versus Atlanta. Greivis Vasquez and Terrence Ross would see additional time if Williams is unable to give it a go, but it's unlikely that either could match the 26 and 27 point games Williams has posted in the last two contests.
Lou Williams, SG2/20/2015 9:49:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams scored a team-high 26 points in 24 minutes on Friday.
Insight: Williams was just on fire, hitting 7-of-10 3-pointers. In his last two games, Williams has scored 26 and 27 points while hitting 11 3-pointers in the two games. That incredible considering the two games were nine days apart. Fantasy owners should ride out this hot streak.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/20/2015 9:43:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led Toronto to an extremely impressive victory over the current top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Insight: The Raptors beat the Hawks in Atlanta, 105-80, and at one point, led by 102-67. DeRozan had 21 points and eight rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the field.
Lou Williams, SG2/11/2015 10:00:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams put in a team-high 27 points during Wednesday's victory versus Washington.

DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/11/2015 9:56:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan went 10-of-10 from the line during Wednesday's win over the Wizards.

Kyle Lowry, G2/8/2015 9:33:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had an all-around good fantasy night versus the Spurs on Sunday.
Insight: Lowry didn't light up any one category, but he was 5-for-15 on his way to 12 points with seven assists, five rebounds and two steals. He continues to be a solid fantasy option even with DeMar DeRozan back in the lineup.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/6/2015 10:14:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan nearly posted a triple-double during Friday's victory against the Clippers.
Insight: DeRozan had 24 points, nine boards, eight assists, and two steals, while shooting 6-of-16 from the field and 12-of-13 from the line.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/5/2015 12:11:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was ejected from Wednesday's game for a flagrant foul, but probably won't get suspended for his action.
Insight: DeRozan hasn't cracked the 16-point mark in any of the last three games and told Josh Lewenberg of TSN that he was frustrated with the way the team is playing the past few games. So are his fantasy owners.
Terrence Ross, SG2/4/2015 10:15:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross played well off the bench on Wednesday night.
Insight: He scored a team-high 23 points going 9-of-16 from the field and 5-of-11 from downtown. This is a bit of an anomaly, as Ross is not worth owning at the moment.
Kyle Lowry, G2/3/2015 4:41:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry called his hamstring injury "nothing major" when speaking to the media after Tuesday's practice according to NBA.com.
Insight: Lowry left Monday's game but returned shortly afterwards. He scored just two points in the game. Hopefully he can bounce-back in a favorable matchup versus the Nets.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F2/2/2015 9:58:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 16 points in a lackluster offensive effort.
Insight: Toronto scored just 75 points versus the Bucks. DeRozan was 5-of-16 from the field and hit 6-for-8 at the line. He didn't do much else with two assists, two rebounds and a steal.
Kyle Lowry, G1/31/2015 10:07:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 23 points during Saturday's overtime win over the Wizards.
Insight: He did not do much else, as he recorded three assists, three boards, one 3-pointer, two steals, and two turnovers. Lowry is a top 20 option.
Amir Johnson, F1/30/2015 10:24:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson shot 10-of-11 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line on Friday.
Insight: As a result, Johnson had a great night with 24 points and seven rebounds. The 24 points is the most scoring Johnson has done in a single game since Dec. 5. This month, Johnson is averaging 9.6 ppg and 6.1 rpg, so expect him to return around those numbers in the next game.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/30/2015 10:20:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led Toronto to a, 127-122, overtime victory versus the Nets on Friday.
Insight: DeRozan led Toronto with 26 points and nine assists. He shot 9-of-17 from the field and 8-for-9 at the line. DeRozan has been hot and cold since his return this month, but overall he is averaging 15.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 2.7 apg.
Lou Williams, SG1/28/2015 10:03:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams came off the bench and scored a game-high 27 points versus the Kings on Wednesday.
Insight: Williams was 7-for-16 from the field, including 4-for-12 from th 3-point line. He was a perfect 9-of-9 at the line as well. Williams will occasionally have games like this, but he cannot be counted on a night-to-night basis because of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan.
Greivis Vasquez, G1/28/2015 9:59:00 PM
Description: Toronto has one of the best backcourts in the league in Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, but it was Greivis Vasquez and Louis Williams leading the way on Wednesday.
Insight: Vazquez led all starters in scoring with 18 points. He was 4-for-5 from the 3-point line and 7-for-9 overall. He also had six assists and four rebounds.

Insight: DeRozan struggled the previous three games, averaging just 4.67 ppg. In the other four games since he returned from injury. DeRozan is averaging 18.1 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.5 apg this season. Nice numbers, but down from 22.7 ppg, 4.3, rpg, 4.0 apg from 2013-14.

In seven games since his return, DeRozan is averaging 13.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.0 apg while shooting 39.3 percent from the field.
Amir Johnson, F1/25/2015 6:05:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson will play on Sunday versus the Pistons.

Jonas Valanciunas, C1/23/2015 11:40:00 AM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is questionable for Friday's game against Philadelphia due to a sore left calf.
Insight: Many teams have rested their questionalbe players against the Sixers and this is another one of theose situations. He's coming off back-to-back double-doubles and is averaging 12.6 ppg, 8.6 rpg this season. Amir Johnson and Patrick Patterson would see more playingt ime if Valanciunas sits.
Kyle Lowry, G1/21/2015 10:52:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had 20 points and eight rebounds during Wednesday's loss against the Grizzlies.
Insight: He also had three assists, two 3-pointers, two steals, one block, and three turnovers. Lowry has been great this season and is a top-20 player.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/19/2015 10:36:00 PM
Description: After leading Toronto in scoring in each of his three games since his return from the groin injury, Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan shot 0-for-9 and missed his only free-throw attempt to finish with zero points versus the Bucks.
Insight: His only fantasy contribution was four assists and three rebounds. Despite the horrible game from DeRozan, Toronto still won, which might make fantasy owners wonder if DeRozan will continue to lead the team in shots. In his four games since his return, the two games DeRozan led the team in shot attempts, Toronto lost. In the two Kyle Lowry led the team in shots attempts, Toronto won.
Kyle Lowry, G1/19/2015 10:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry carried the Raptors to a, 92-89, victory over the Bucks on Monday.
Insight: With fellow guard DeMar DeRozan back in the lineup, Lowry's fantasy value has taken a major hit. In the three games since DeRozan returned, Lowry has averaged just 13.0 ppg. DeRozan, however, really struggled versus the Bucks, so Lowry took 25 shots and led the team with 18 points. It will be interesting to see how these two continue to work together in the second half of the season.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/18/2015 6:09:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led Toronto managed a team-high 22 points during Sunday's loss against the Pelicans.
Insight: He shot just 7-of-18 from the field, but did go 7-of-9 from the stripe. DeRozan also chipped in three boards, one assist, one 3-pointer, one steal, and one turnover. Owners need to make sure he is back in all lineups.
Kyle Lowry, GCold1/18/2015 11:04:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is averaging just 13 ppg over his last three starts and shooting just 35 percent from the field.
Insight: Lowry has played at an All-Star level this season, averaging 20.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 7.8 apg, 1.6 spg, but it's no coincidence that his scoring has dropped with the return of DeMar DeRozan. Lowry could be a sell-high candidate.

Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led Toronto in scoring again with 25 points on Friday.
Insight: DeRozan has played two games since returning from his injury, and he has led the Raptors in scoring both nights. He was 11-of-18 from the field Friday. Kyle Lowry, G1/14/2015 10:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had a double-double in the victory on Wednesday.
Insight: DeMar DeRozan returned to the lineup, but it didn't really effect Lowry and shouldn't moving forward. Lowry won't have as many scoring opportunities, but his assist numbers should go up. He had 12 assists to go with 18 points on Wednesday. Lowry also had seven rebounds and four 3-pointers.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/14/2015 10:05:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan led the team with 20 points in his return to the court on Wednesday.
Insight: So much for being limited. DeRozan started, played 29 minutes and led the team in scoring. DeRozan was 9-of-14 shooting with four rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. If owners haven't done so already, they are going to want to move DeRozan out of the IR spot and back into the lineup.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/14/2015 6:54:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will be a game-time decision against the 76ers on Wednesday. UPDATE: DeRozan will play but should be limited.
Insight: DeRozan is probably not going to start and will be limited, so it would be already to leave him on the bench for one more game.

Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will be a game-time decision against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Description: According to head coach Dwane Casey, Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan (groin) is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday or Friday.
Insight: He will likely be eased back into action, but will definitely reclaim his starting role, once he is a full-go. DeRozan's return will diminish the value of Terrence Rossm James Johnson, and possibly Lou Williams.

Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas posted an impressive double-double during Monday's loss against the Pistons.

Lou Williams, SG1/10/2015 10:07:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams was tied with Kyle Lowry for the team lead in scoring on Saturday.
Insight: Williams had 19 points off the bench, shooting 6-for-16, including 3-of-9 from the 3-point line. Being that DeMar DeRozan is coming back soon, Williams' fantasy value is minimal at best.
Kyle Lowry, G1/10/2015 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had 19 points and seven assists in the, 109-96, victory over the Celtics on Saturday.
Insight: Lowry was 7-for-17, including 3-for-8 from the 3-point line. He also had five rebounds. With DeMar DeRozan coming back soon, Lowry will see a slight decrease in production, but he should continue his stellar season overall.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/9/2015 1:21:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan chances of returning Saturday have been lessened after he missed Friday's practice.
Insight: DeRozan had said he needed more practices before he'd be ready. Once DeRozan (19.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.4 spg) is back on the court, he should immediately go back into fantasy lineups.

Insight: He did not shoot well, hitting just 7-of-22 from the field, but did go 6-of-7 from the line and 4-of-10 from deep. Lowry also had seven assists, seven rebounds, one block, and three turnovers.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/7/2015 1:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will not play on Thursday because he wants to get more practice in before returning to game action.
Insight: DeRozan owners shouldn't be too discouraged by this because he could be back as early as Saturday and extra rest is never a bad thing. Once DeRozan is back on the court, he should immediately go back into fantasy lineups.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F1/6/2015 1:15:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will test his groin on Tuesdat and could be back for Thursday's game if it passes.

Lou Williams, SG1/4/2015 10:25:00 PM

Insight: He finished with 17 points, three assists, three rebounds, two 3-pointers, one steal, and one turnover. Williams will continue to produce off the bench.

Greivis Vasquez, G1/3/2015 9:19:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez played 34 minutes on Friday and made five 3-pointers.
Insight: Vasquez has always been a good shooter, the question was always would he see enough playing time. Friday, he saw enough to score a season-high. Vasquez also had seven assists, five rebounds and a steal.
Landry Fields, G1/2/2015 11:39:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields is questionable for Friday's game against Golden State with a concussion.
Insight: There are rarely timetables when concussions are involved and he's missed the past five games. With a 3.2 ppg average he has no fantasy value even when healthy.

Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored 25 points in Tuesday's loss.
Insight: Lowry went 10-of-26 from the field and contributed with seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Lowry continues to be a top fantasy option, particularly with teammate DeMar DeRozan still sidelined. Lowry has averaged 27.2 ppg, 7.0 apg and 5.4 rpg over the last five games.

Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields earned a surprise start against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Insight: This sent Greivis Vasquez to the bench. There is no indication of whether this is a one-time move or a permanent change. We will continue to monitor the Toronto lineup.
Kyle Lowry, G12/8/2014 10:33:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry shot just 3-for-13 but did dish 13 assists against the Nuggets on Monday as Toronto won in overtime.
Insight: Lowry had a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. He shot 7-of-8 from the free-throw line to help his numbers. It was nice to see someone else score for Toronto without DeMar DeRozan in the lineup.
Jonas Valanciunas, C12/8/2014 10:28:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had his fifth double-double of the season on Monday against the Nuggets.
Insight: Valanciunas scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He shot 8-of-11 to really help the field goal percentage. The center also added four blocks. Without DeMar DeRozan until January, someone needs to step up on offense to help Kyle Lowry, so Valanciunas might just be the guy.
Amir Johnson, F12/5/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson played very well in the loss against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Insight: Johnson scored a season-high 27 points, shooting 11-of-15 from the field. He also had seven rebounds and four assists. Johnson seems to be the second-option for the Raptors offense that will be playing without DeMar DeRozan until likely sometime in January.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F12/5/2014 6:46:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will not need surgery to repair his torn thigh muscle according to the Toronto Sun.
Insight: This is fantasy news for fantasy owners as DeRozan is week-to-week. Despite the week-to-week status, he probably won't return until January. Greivis Vasquez, James Johnson, Terrence Ross and Patrick Patterson will all see their values rise, but ultimately Kyle Lowry will be the guy until DeRozan return.
Kyle Lowry, G12/3/2014 9:36:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 27 points, along with 13 assists in Tuesday's win over the Kings.
Insight: Lowry has played well and is averaging 19.6 ppg, 6.9 apg, 4.9 rpg, and 1.3 spg. He is a top-20 fantasy player.
Lou Williams, SGHot12/1/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams should be a viable fantasy option while Demar DeRozan is sidelined for about a month.
Insight: Williams has always been a scorer and this will give him more playing time, but he won't help you in the other fantasy categories. He's averaging 22 ppg over his last five contests.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F12/1/2014 12:02:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon and we now have a timetabkle for his return.
Insight: According to NBA Insider Sam Amick he's hoping to return in four weeks. That's a big blow for fantasy owners and the Kings. Lou Williams should be able to replace his points, but he doesn't give you much in the other fantasy categories.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/29/2014 3:44:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon.
Insight: For all owners, like us, who are not familiar with many medical terms, it is an injury to DeRozan's groin. There is no timetable for his return, but he is expected to miss an extended period of time. Lou Williams should benefit the most during DeRozan's absence.
Kyle Lowry, G11/29/2014 9:12:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored 25 points in Friday's loss to the Mavericks.
Insight: Lowry also chipped in seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, three 3-pointers, and two turnovers. He holds top-20 value.

Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored a team-high 27 points in Wednesday's win against the Hawks.
Insight: He was 8-of-16 from the field and 9-of-9 from the stripe. DeRozan also had three rebounds, two assists, two 3-pointers, and five turnovers. Owners would like the tunovers to go down.
Jonas Valanciunas, C11/24/2014 9:57:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double during Monday's win over the Suns.
Insight: He was 10-of-11 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line for 27 points, 11 rebounds, one block, and two turnovers. Have to love the efficiency.
Kyle Lowry, G11/22/2014 10:14:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry was solid again in Saturday's win over Cleveland.
Insight: He had 23 points (5-of-14 from the field, 11-of-12 from the line), eight assists, three rebounds, and one block. Lowry is a great option at point guard right now.
Lou Williams, SG11/22/2014 10:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams scored a season-high 36 points in Saturday's win against the Cavaliers.
Insight: He did so off the bench in 29 minutes, going 9-of-19 from the field and 15-of-15 from the line. Williams added four rebounds, three 3-pointers, one assist, and three steals. This may be the best game Williams gives owners all season.
Jonas Valanciunas, C11/21/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double on Friday versus the Bucks.
Insight: Toronto blew out Milwaukee, 124-83, which is extremely impressive considering DeMar DeRozan shot 1-of-8 from the floor. With DeRozan struggling, Valanciunas stepped up to score 18 points and grab 12 rebounds.
Kyle Lowry, G11/21/2014 10:26:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lift Toronto to a big victory, 124-83, over Milwaukee.
Insight: Lowry did a little of everything on Friday. In addition to those numbers, he shot 60 percent, including 3-for-5 at the 3-point line. He also made 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Kyle Lowry, G11/19/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry recorded 18 points and dished seven assists in the, 96-92, victory over the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/19/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points to lead Toronto over the team with the best record in the league.

Kyle Lowry, G11/16/2014 10:28:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had 19 points on Saturday, shooting 8-for-14, against the Jazz on Saturday.
Insight: Lowry made two 3-pointers and chipped in four assists, three rebounds and a steal as well. He has been a tremendous fantasy find as he was likely a second or third round pick this season.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/15/2014 10:51:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points in the victory over the Jazz on Saturday.
Insight: DeRozan shot 10-of-17 from the field and 7-for-8 at the line. He did not contribute much in the other statistics though with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Landry Fields, G11/14/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields, flu-like symptoms, is questionable for Saturday's game against Utah
Insight: Fields has no fantasy value even when healthy.
Kyle Lowry, G11/13/2014 10:50:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 20 points during Thursday's loss to Chicago.
Insight: He was 8-of-19 from the field, includinf 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. Lowry also had eight assists, eight rebounds and two turnovers.
Terrence Ross, SG11/11/2014 10:08:00 PM

Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross shot 4-of-6 from the 3-point line and scored 18 points on Friday.
Insight: Ross also had five rebounds. The game was very encouraging because Ross was able to log 29 minutes, which is the most he has played in a week.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/7/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line on Friday.
Insight: He added seven field goals to scored 25 points. He chipped in three rebounds, a steal and an assist as well.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/5/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan had 23 points against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Kyle Lowry, G11/5/2014 10:02:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry broke out of his shooting slump, hitting 12-of-17, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc as Toronto beat Boston, 110-107.
Insight: Lowry also made 9-of-10 attempt from the free-throw line to finish with 35 points. He chipped in four rebounds, three assists and two steals as well, but owners are extremely excited Lowry finally got going in the scorer's sheet.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/4/2014 10:41:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored a team-high 16 points, in a win over the Thunder.
Insight: He was 7-of-9 from the free throw line, and chipped in three rebounds and three assists as well. Derozan is a solid fantasy option, moving forward.
Jonas Valanciunas, C11/4/2014 8:47:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas left Tuesday's game against the Thunder. UPDATE: Valanciunas has been cleared to return to action, after x-rays came back negative.
Insight: He played seven minutes before departing, as trainers were checking his right hand. This is great news for owners.
John Salmons, G/F11/4/2014 1:09:00 PM
Description: New Orleans G/F John Salmons (personal) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Charlotte.
Insight: Salmons was at home for the birth of his child and it isn't known when he will return. He's not seeing enough playing time to be of value to fantasy owners.
Amir Johnson, F11/4/2014 11:53:00 AM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson did not play Sunday night and is questionable for Tuesday.
Insight: Johnson is dealing with a sore left ankle. Patrick Peterson would get the start and Tyler Hansbrough would also see increased playing time. Johnson has averaged a solid 15 ppg and 7.5 rpg in the two games he did play.
Amir Johnson, F11/2/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson will not play Sunday night.
Insight: Johnson has averaged 15 ppg and 7.5 rpg over the first two games. He's dealing with a sore left ankle. Patrick Peterson will get the start.
Kyle Lowry, G11/1/2014 9:46:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry posted another poor shooting night, 5-of-12 from the field, but scored 21 points.
Insight: Lowry got to the free-throw line 11 times and made nine of those shots. Lowry also made two 3-pointers. Fantasy owners like the 21 points, three rebounds, five assists and one steal from the guard, but they still want a better shooting percentage from Lowry.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/1/2014 9:41:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points in a, 108-95, victory over the Magic on Saturday.
Insight: DeRozan shot 50 percent from the field and made 8-of-10 from the line. He also had eight rebounds, one assist and one steal without turning the ball over.
Kyle Lowry, G10/29/2014 10:19:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had a poor shooting night, but posted a double-double during Wednesday's win over Atlanta.
Insight: Lowry and DeMar Derozan shot poorly, going a a combined 7-of-27. However, Derozan chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals, while Lowry had 11 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Both players should be extremely valuable until season's end.
Jonas Valanciunas, C10/29/2014 10:17:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas led the team in scoring, in limited minutes.
Insight: He played only 21 minutes, and was 4-of-5 from the field, but 9-of-10 from the line, for his 17 points. Valanciunas also chipped in eight rebounds and a block. It was a solid opening night, and owners can expect his playing to increase as well.
Patrick Patterson, F10/25/2014 1:51:00 PM
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson is the classic player who is better in real life than in fantasy.
Insight: Patterson contributes intangibles off the bench to Toronto and the team is happy to have him. For fantasy, however, Peterson is a guy who will average about eight points and five rebounds per game off the bench.
Greivis Vasquez, G10/25/2014 1:49:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez only has value in deeper leagues unless Kyle Lowry gets hurt.
Insight: The days of Vasquez leading the league in assists are long gone, mostly because he is a backup to Lowry. He will contribute about four-to-five assists per game, but his value in standards leagues is strictly as a handcuff to Lowry.
Terrence Ross, SG10/25/2014 1:44:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross' fantasy value largely depends on how many 3-pointers he can shoot per game.
Insight: Ross is only 23-years-old, so he can definitely continue to get better. For right now though, his fantasy impact is mostly in 3-point shooting. He made 40.1 percent of his 3-pointers last season while averaging 12.2 PPG and 2.3 3-pointers per game.
Amir Johnson, F10/25/2014 1:42:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson is an underrated fantasy player.
Insight: We expect him to average 10.2 PPG, 6.9 RPG and 1.2 BPG. He played the end of last season with an ankle injury, but he is healthy to start this season.
Jonas Valanciunas, C10/25/2014 1:39:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas could be poised for a breakout season in 2014-2015.
Insight: Valanciunas dropped his fouls per game from 3.2 to 2.8 after the All-Star break last season and that allowed him to stay on the court to make an impact. He averaged 16.8 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 0.9 BPG, 57.6 field goal percentage and 76.6 free-throw percentage in eight April games. He is on the verge of breaking out as a star.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F10/25/2014 1:35:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will lead Toronto in scoring again this season.
Insight: DeRozan led the team in scoring and assists last season. Toronto will need him to score again this season, and he takes a lot of free throws as well. DeRozan still might not give fantasy owners a ton of 3-pointers, but he has a lot of other things to offer.
Kyle Lowry, G10/25/2014 1:29:00 PM
Description: Kyle Lowry posted career-best numbers in nearly every category last season.
Insight: That begs the question, can he repeat last season's success? He averaged 17.9 PPG, 7.4 APG, 2.4 3-pointers, 13.7 FGA, 4.9 FTA and shot 38 percent from behind the arc. It will be hard for Lowry to repeat those numbers as we don't expect him to play in 79 games again, but he has little competition for his position and the Raptors need him to score. He should be a reliable fantasy player once again.
Kyle Lowry, G7/3/2014 12:49:00 PM
Description: According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Raptors have re-signed Kyle Lowry to a four-year, $48 million contract.
Insight: Lowry was one of top second-tier free agents available, but he'll stick with the Raptors rather than taking less money to play with Houston or Miami. The 28-year-old had his best season in 2013-14, averaging 36.2 minutes, 17.9 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 threes and 1.5 steals per game.
Kyle Lowry, G6/21/2014 4:00:00 PM
Description: Kyle Lowry and the Heat appear to be interested in joining forces. The point guard will become a free agent on July 1st. SOURCE: Brian Windhorst, ESPN
Insight: Lowry had a breakout year for the Raptors, averaging 17.9 ppg and 7.4 apg in 79 games during the regular season. Miami has certainly been lacking in the point guard department and Lowry would be a huge upgrade over Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers. Still, Lowry could probably earn more money elsewhere as the Heat are likely to use most of their salary cap space on re-signing LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Whatever Lowry makes next season, it will definitely be more than the $6.2 million he earned in 2013-14.
Kyle Lowry, G5/4/2014 4:12:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry scored a game-high 28 points Sunday in a heartbreaking loss to Brooklyn.
Insight: In what will go down as one of the most dramatic playoff games in recent memory, Lowry had the ball in his hands for the final shot but could not deliver. After taking contact from Kevin Garnett on his way to the hoop, Paul Pierce came from behind to block Lowry's shot as time expired. It was a disappointing end to what was an excellent series and an even better season for Lowry. With Lowry (21.1 ppg in the series) headed for free agency after the season, you wonder if he's played his final game with the Raptors.
Landry Fields, G5/2/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields (back spasms) is probable for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Friday against Brooklyn

Kyle Lowry, GHot4/30/2014 10:37:00 PM
Description: Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had 36 points, six assists and six threes Wednesday as Toronto took a 3-2 lead in its first-round playoff series against the Nets.
Insight: After leading by 22 points going into the fourth quarter, the Raptors allowed the Nets to tie the game with 1:23 left, but Kyle Lowry answered with a 3-pointer with 1:04 left to give Toronto a lead it would never lose. Lowry has averaged 21.8 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 threes per game in the series.
Kyle Lowry, G 4/27/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: The Raptors tied their first-round playoff series with the Nets 2-2 behind Kyle Lowry's 22 points in Game 4.
Insight: Lowry has averaged 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists during the series, though he has shot just 40 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from 3-point range.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F4/22/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Toronto G/F DeMar DeRozan looked much better in Tuesday night's win over the Nets.
Insight: DeRozan couldn't get much going in Game 1 (14 points on 3-of-13 shooting) but Game 2 was a completely different story. He ended up with 30 points in 38 minutes of court time. He shot 12-of-14 from the free throw line and is now 20-of-22 from that distance in this series (90.9 percent). Game 3 will be played Friday in Brooklyn.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot4/22/2014 10:22:00 PM
Description: The Raptors turned things around Tuesday in Game 2 and a lot of the credit goes to second-year big man Jonas Valanciunas (15 points, 14 rebounds).
Insight: He's had a monster series, averaging 16 ppg and 16 rpg on 54.5 percent shooting. We'll see if Valanciunas has any magic left for Friday night's Game 3 in Brooklyn.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F4/19/2014 4:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan couldn't find his shot and went 3-for-13, including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc, in Game 1 versus Brooklyn.
Insight: DeRozan will have to produce as he did in the regular season (22.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.0 apg, 1.1 spg) if Toronto is to do anything in the series.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot4/19/2014 4:10:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas did his best to keep Toronto in Game 1 of the series with Brooklyn, grabbing 18 rebounds to go along with 17 points, two assists and a pair of blocks.
Insight: The 18 rebounds was a team record for the postseason. He averaged 11.3 ppg and 8.8 rpg during the regular season, so Game 1 was a huge step up.

Description: Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan will get a night off to rest Monday against the Bucks, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
