Description: Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz is a career .545 hitter (6-for-11) against Rockies starter Jorge de la Rosa.
Insight: Ruiz has hit the ball well over the past two games and could be ready to take advantage of this favorable matchup. That, of course, assumes he plays in the day game after a night game which at 36-years-old is not guaranteed. Update: Ruiz is in the starting lineup.
