Syracuse, NY (Sports Network) - Jordan Todman rushed for 130 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Connecticut Huskies downed the Syracuse Orange, 23-6, in a Big East matchup at the Carrier Dome.

Todman did his work on 27 carries as the Huskies (6-4, 3-2 Big East) won their third straight. Zach Frazer was 13-of-21 through the air for just 98 yards, while Isaiah Moore caught four balls for 37 yards.

DeLone Carter ran for 67 yards on 19 carries for the Orange (7-4, 4-3), while Ryan Nassib was 20-of-36 through the air for 176 yards. He was intercepted once.

The Huskies started the scoring when Todman reached the end zone on a one-yard run with just over five minutes left in the first quarter.

Syracuse responded with a 42-yard field goal from Ross Krautman just before the quarter ended.

Dave Teggart added a 35-yard field goal with half a minute left in the first half to give the Huskies a 10-3 edge.

Krautman added a 35-yard field goal for the Orange six-and-a-half minutes into the third quarter.

Todman scored his second touchdown of the night on a two-yard burst to extend Connecticut's lead to 17-6 with just under five minutes left in the period.

Teggart kicked his third field goal of the night, a 35-yarder with 14:06 left in the game. He added his fourth, a 23-yard boot with exactly three minutes remaining.

The two teams combined were just 6-of-27 on third-down conversions.
