NCAA Game Summary - Columbia at Harvard

Cambridge, MA (Sports Network) - Siyani Chambers scored a game-high 16 points as the Harvard Crimson registered a 56-51 win over the Columbia Lions in Ivy League action at Lavietes Pavilion.
Also scoring in double figures for Harvard (18-9, 10-3 Ivy) was Wesley Saunders who tallied 15 points as the team snapped a two-game slide. Kenyatta Smith had a strong effort on the inside with eight points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots for the hosts.
The Lions (12-15, 4-9) were paced by Alex Rosenberg and Grant Mullins who both dropped in 14 points, while Brian Barbour pitched in with 11 but shot only 4- of-12 from the floor as the team bowed for the second time in as many games. Mark Cisco grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds but was limited to just two points on 1-of-5 shooting from the floor.
Rosenberg delivered all but two of his points in the first half for Columbia, converting 4-of-5 shots from the floor, in order to give the visitors a 28-22 advantage at the break. Harvard shot just 1-of-7 beyond the arc through the first 20 minutes of action.
The Crimson ruled the second half at both ends of the floor, hitting 55.6 percent of their field goal attempts and also holding Columbia to just 29 percent, as the hosts captured the five-point win.
Harvard, which outscored the Lions at the free-throw line by a 15-6 margin, recorded a mere five offensive rebounds.
