NCAA Game Summary - Buffalo at Oakland

Rochester, MI (Sports Network) - The nation's leading scorer Reggie Hamilton led the way with 29 points and five assists to charge the Oakland Golden Grizzlies as they downed the Buffalo Bulls, 84-76, in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament at Athletics Center O'Rena.
Ryan Bass contributed 22 points for Oakland (19-15) while Travis Bader chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds. Corey Petros tallied 10 points for the Golden Grizzlies, who will need to wait the results of the second round to find out their quarterfinal round opponent.
Tony Watson scored a team-high 19 points off the bench for Buffalo (20-11), while Jarod Oldham and Zach Filzen netted 12 points each. Mitchell Watt got into the mix as well, as he added 10 points in the losing effort.
Oakland took a 46-44 lead into the intermission after it knocked down 51.5 percent of its field goal attempts including 9-of-19 from three-point range in the opening period. The Bulls stayed close by shooting 50 percent from the floor and hitting 6-of-13 from beyond the arc in the first half.
Down 76-68 with 5:19 left to play, Buffalo put together a late rally and scored eight straight points to tie it up with 3:56 left. Oakland answered by scoring eight in a row while shutting out the Bulls for the rest the contest. The Golden Grizzlies managed to hang on in the second half despite shooting 37.5 percent from the field with a solid 17-of-21 clip at the charity stripe. The Bulls shot 48.1 percent from the field, but attempted only one free throw in the final 20 minutes.
Oakland scored 22 points off of Buffalo's 17 turnovers. The Bulls managed to score just 10 points off of the Golden Grizzlies' 10 turnovers.
