NCAA Game Summary - Siena at Marist

Poughkeepsie, NY (Sports Network) - Chavaughn Lewis scored 16 points and brought in nine rebounds to lead the Marist Red Foxes to a 61-52 triumph over the Siena Saints in a Metro Atlantic Conference tilt at McCann Arena.
Isaiah Morton added 15 points and handed out six assists for Marist (12-17, 6-11, MAAC) which has won five of its last seven.
O.D. Anosike scored 15 points and ripped down 13 rebounds to pace Siena (12-16, 7-10) which also got 14 points from Evan Hymes. The Saints have now lost back-to-back games after consecutive victories earlier this month.
Neither team shot well in the first half but Marist led 28-20 by connecting on 39.3 percent of its shots from the floor which was better than Siena's 29.6 percent.
The Red Foxes took a step back and shot just 34.6 percent in the second half but were able to pull out the nine point victory by outscoring the Saints 12-3 from the free throw line in the final twenty minutes.
Marist outscored Siena 16-6 on points off turnovers while the Saints were the better team on the interior outscoring the Red Foxes 40-24 on points in the paint while holding a 40-37 edge on the glass.
