Knoxville, TN (Sports Network) - Jordan McRae scored 14 points off the bench, pacing six players in double figures, as the Tennessee Volunteers took care of the Arkansas Razorbacks, 77-58, in SEC play at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Trae Golden posted 13 points and handed out seven assists for the Vols (14-12, 6-5 SEC), followed by Skylar McBee and Jeronne Maymon with 12 points apiece in the team's fourth straight win. Cameron Tatum added 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds and Jarnell Stokes 10 points for the hosts.
The Razorbacks (17-9, 5-6), losers of three of their last four, were paced by BJ Young who tallied a game-high 18 points, followed by Hunter Mickelson with 12 points off the bench.
Tennessee shot a sizzling 68.0 percent from the floor in the first half, including 7-of-10 behind the three-point line, en route to a commanding 47-30 advantage at the break.
In the second half Arkansas was able to cut into the deficit, but with just 1- of-6 shooting behind the three-point line in the period the Hogs didn't shoot nearly well enough to make a difference in what turned into a 19-point win for the home team.
Arkansas turned the ball over 18 times on the night, miscues that UT traded in for 26 points.
