Poughkeepsie, NY (Sports Network) - Adam Kemp scored 17 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and blocked eight shots to lead the Marist Red Foxes over the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds, 72-54, in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at McCann Arena.

For the Red Foxes (10-16, 5-10 MAAC), Devin Price added 16 points and Anell Alexis and Chavaughn Lewis chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively, in the upset win.

Shane Walker led the Greyhounds (19-7, 12-4) with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Dylon Cormier finished with 11 points.

Neither team shot the ball well to open the contest. Marist struggled to make just 29.2 percent from the floor, while Loyola was slightly better at 34.4 percent in order for the visitors to take a 29-23 lead into halftime.

After the break, the Greyhounds continued to struggle from the field, hitting just 28.1 percent. Conversely, the Red Foxes heated up, connecting on a scorching 60 percent of their field goals in the second half, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. With the game tied at 49-49 with a little over seven minutes to play, Marist used a 17-1 run to take control of the game and coast to the victory.

Marist outscored Loyola at the free-throw line, 22-12. Loyola held a slight edge on the boards, 40-35.
