Lipscomb F Hodzic declares for NBA Draft
Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Lipscomb University forward Adnan Hodzic has decided to forego his senior season and enter his name into the 2010 NBA Draft.
Hodzic will not hire an agent, making him eligible to return to school if he removes his name before the deadline.
The Bosnia native was the nation's second-leading scorer with 22.7 points per game, earning Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year honors. He was also named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.
"After careful consideration of my options and my desire to play professionally, I have decided to enter my name in this summer's NBA draft," Hodzic said. "While I have made great advancements on the court for Lipscomb over the last three years, I know that continual hard work and practice will make me an even better player."
Hodzic has until May 8 to withdraw his name from consideration for the draft.
