NCAA Game Summary - New Hampshire at Maryland

College Park, MD (Sports Network) - Landon Milbourne scored 24 points on 9- of-15 shooting, and the 25th-ranked Maryland Terrapins dominated the New Hampshire Wildcats, 82-55, at Comcast Center.
Eric Hayes added 15 points for the Terrapins (3-0), who have won all three games this season at home. Sean Mosley contributed 13 points and 10 assists, while Greivis Vasquez had eight points and six boards in the win.
"(Milbourne) can score inside, and he can score outside," said Maryland head coach Gary Williams. "You can label him whatever number you want, but he is the guy that can make jump shots, and he can score inside. He's just a good player."
Maryland was very efficient from the field, shooting 30-for-53 in the contest.
Colbey Santos led New Hampshire (1-1) with 14 points, as the Wildcats were coming off their third consecutive home-opening win over Suffolk University. Alvin Abreu and Radar Onguetou had nine points apiece in defeat.
Milbourne and Hayes combined to score the game's first nine points for Maryland, and Hayes' three-pointer just over three minutes into the game capped the early surge.
Milbourne's layup soon after gave the Terrapins their first double-digit lead at 13-3, and the advantage ballooned to 20, 32-12, on Hayes' three with 6:15 to play in the opening half.
The first half ended with the home team ahead, 40-22.
Maryland proved to be too much in the second half, taking a 49-24 lead after a Vasquez jumper early in the period. The Terrapins went up by 35 after a 16-0 run that Mosley capped with a layup with 10:45 to play.
The hosts rolled the rest of the way.
It was the first-ever meeting between the schools...New Hampshire shot 18- of-51 in the game...Maryland was 5-for-11 from beyond the arc.
