Eder's brace leads the way for Braga

Lisbon, Portugal (Sports Network) - Eder scored a goal in each half to lead Braga to a comfortable 4-1 win over Rio Ave on Sunday.

The first goal arrived on the stroke of halftime for Eder to give Braga a 1-0 lead, while Rio Ave equalized early in the second half through Fraga.

Ruben Amorim restored Braga's lead in the 63rd minute, and Eder made it 3-1 seven minutes later before Rio Ave was reduced to 10 men with Nivaldo being sent off.

Custodio capped the scoring a few minutes later from the penalty spot, giving Braga two wins from its last three games.

FC Porto coasted to a 4-0 home win against Beira Mar as four different players, Jackson Martinez, Silvestre Varela, James Rodriguez and Maicon scored goals.

Porto has won its last three games after opening the season with a 0-0 draw at Gil Vicente to sit on top of the league with 10 points, while Benfica fell two points back after being held to a 2-2 draw at Academica.

Friday's match saw Guimaraes claim a 1-0 win over 10-man Moreirense as David Addy scored in the 58th minute after Moreirense's Augusto was sent off in the third minute.

Pacos Ferreira scored two goals in the last four minutes to claim a 3-3 draw at Nacional, Setubal beat Olhanense, 1-0 with a second-half penalty kick from Albert Ze and on Monday Luis Leal scored a hat trick as Estoril downed 10-man Maritimo, 3-1, while Sporting Lisbon got goals from Diego Capel and Ricky van Wolfswinkel in the final 15 minutes of a 2-1 victory against Gil Vicente.
