Pandev completes Napoli move

Naples, Italy (Sports Network) - Macedonian striker Goran Pandev completed a permanent move from Inter Milan to Napoli on Wednesday in a deal worth $10 million.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Napoli after a disappointing two- plus seasons at Inter in which he managed to score only eight goals.

Pandev enjoyed a strong campaign with Napoli, helping the club win the Coppa Italia and netting six goals in 30 matches, and he joins the club on a three- year contract.

"Pandev is our first important reinforcement in attack this summer," Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis said. "We are very happy and so is the player. Pandev is a wonderful person and a great player."
