Canada bests Finland
Canada won the men's curling tournament Friday at the Winter Olympics by beating Finland, 10-4, in the gold medal match at Pinerolo Palaghiaccio.

Canada has won a medal in men's curling at every Olympics since it was introduced as a medal sport at the 1998 Nagano Games. However, this was the first gold for the country, which had won silver at each of the previous two Winter Games.

Russ Howard was the skip for Canada, leading a team that included Brad Gushue, Mark Nichols, Jamie Korab and Mike Adam.
