Wednesday, November 22nd (All times eastern)

St. Louis Blues (5-11-3) at Columbus Blue Jackets (5-13-1), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets try once again to end their current slide tonight when they welcome the St. Louis Blues to Nationwide Arena.

The Jackets have lost their last six games, including an 0-4-0 mark under interim head coach Gary Agnew. Agnew replaced the fired Gerard Gallant on November 13.

Three of Columbus' four defeats in that time have come at the hands of Nashville, including Monday's 3-1 home setback. Paul Kariya and Martin Erat each notched a goal and an assist to lift the Predators.

Jason Chimera had the only goal for the Blue Jackets, while netminder Fredrik Norrena stopped 20 shots in the loss.

Star winger Rick Nash missed the game with a groin injury, and he is questionable for tonight's tilt.

Columbus, which is 3-7-1 on home ice, will visit Philadelphia on Friday afternoon.

St. Louis, meanwhile, is coming off three straight road losses to Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Last Friday the Blues dropped a 4-2 tilt to the Canucks, as Markus Naslund bagged a pair of goals to lift the hosts.

Doug Weight notched his first goal of the season and also added an assist for the Blues. Keith Tkachuk also tallied, while goaltender Jason Bacashihua stopped 40 shots in the losing effort.

The Blues, who are 1-7-1 on the road, will visit Detroit on Friday.

Columbus defeated St. Louis, 4-2, on November 9 at the Scottrade Center and has won three consecutive meetings.
