Atlanta Thrashers (18-7-4) at Tampa Bay Lightning (13-13-2), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Thrashers will aim for their sixth consecutive victory tonight, when they visit the struggling Tampa Bay Lightning at St. Pete Times Forum.

Atlanta is coming off Tuesday's comeback victory in Toronto. Slava Kozlov scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist as the Thrashers came from behind with five third-period goals in a 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Glen Metropolit added a goal and two assists and Marian Hossa scored his league-leading 21st goal of the season and chipped in with an assist for the Thrashers.

The five-game win streak ties a club record set from January 6-18 of last season.

Johan Hedberg stopped 17 shots for Atlanta.

The Thrashers' five-game winning streak has helped the club extend their lead in the Southeast Division to seven points over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Tonight marks the end of a three-game road trip for the Thrashers, who are 10-3-3 as the visiting team this year.

The Lightning, meanwhile, have dropped four straight contests. They honored their former captain on Dave Andreychuk Night, but Daniel Briere stole the show, netting his first-career hat trick to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-1 win at St. Pete Times Forum.

Vincent Lecavalier bagged the only goal for Tampa Bay, while Marc Denis had 21 saves in the loss.

The Lightning are playing the middle portion of a three-game homestand tonight. They are 7-8-0 as the hosts this year.

Tampa Bay has won three of the first four meetings with Atlanta this season.
