Toronto Maple Leafs (19-14-3) at Pittsburgh Penguins (8-19-7), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Penguins hope to snap a five-game losing streak tonight when they welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to Mellon Arena.

The Penguins were last in action Friday night against the Philadelphia Flyers and were handed a 5-4 loss. Peter Forsberg scored two goals, including the equalizer late in the third period, and added an assist to lead the Flyers in Pittsburgh.

Sidney Crosby had two goals and an assist and Erik Christensen tallied a goal and a helper for Pittsburgh, which has dropped 11 of its last 12 games.

Tomas Surovy added a goal and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 shots for the Penguins.

Tonight is the second test of a four-game homestand for the Penguins, who are 4-9-4 at the Igloo this season.

Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs have won two in a row, including a 2-1 home victory over the Devils on Monday. Bryan McCabe netted the game-winning goal and Ed Belfour outdueled Martin Brodeur to lead Toronto past New Jersey.

Mats Sundin also scored for Toronto, which has now won four of its last six games.

Belfour allowed just one goal on 34 shots to win his 450th career game.

Darcy Tucker picked up an assist on McCabe's goal and now has a four-game point streak.

Center Jason Allison will miss tonight's game after suffering a fractured finger against the Devils.

The Maple Leafs have already been without right wing Alexander Steen (right thumb) and centers Eric Lindros (wrist) and Nik Antropov (knee). All three players are questionable for tonight's tilt.

This is the first meeting of the season between the Penguins and Maple Leafs. Toronto has won seven straight and eight of the last 12 matchups.

The Leafs have also won five straight and six of eight in Pittsburgh.
