Phoenix Coyotes (11-11-2) at Dallas Stars (14-6-1), 8:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The surging Dallas Stars shoot for their fifth consecutive victory this evening, as they host the Phoenix Coyotes at American Airlines Center.

Dallas is coming off a home victory over the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Wednesday. Jason Arnott scored two goals in the third period as the Stars skated past Anaheim, 3-1.

Bill Guerin added three assists for 11 helpers on the year for the Stars, while Brenden Morrow also posted a goal. Guerin and Morrow each extended their point streaks to four games.

Marty Turco was solid in goal with 20 saves, as Dallas improved to a league- best 14-1 this season when allowing four goals or less.

The Stars have 29 points and are second in the Pacific Division behind the Los Angeles Kings.

Tonight's game concludes a three-game homestand for the Stars, who are 7-4-1 in Dallas this year.

The Coyotes last played on Tuesday when they were handed a 2-1 loss by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Ilya Bryzgalov made 19 saves to lead the Ducks at Glendale Arena.

Geoff Sanderson scored the lone goal for the Coyotes, who had a two-game winning streak stopped. Curtis Joseph made 18 saves in the defeat.

During the game, Anaheim forward Todd Fedoruk was given a 10-minute match penalty on a call of a deliberate attempt to injure when he hit Phoenix's Petr Nedved in the back of the head with an elbow. Fedoruk was eventually given a three-game suspension.

Dallas has won both meetings with the Coyotes this season and three of the last four matchups overall.
