Columbus Blue Jackets (27-40-3) at Detroit Red Wings (48-15-6), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Detroit Red Wings will try to stay hot tonight, as they
welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets to Joe Louis Arena.
The Red Wings are currently tied with the Ottawa Senators for the lead in the
NHL with 102 points and with one more point can officially secure a playoff
berth. They also hold a five-point lead over Dallas for first place in the

Thursday's shutout win over the San Jose Sharks. Manny Legace recorded his
sixth shutout of the season, as he made 28 saves in Detroit's 4-0 win at Joe

3-2 victory over the Calgary Flames on Friday at Nationwide Arena.
Manny Malhotra and Nikolai Zherdev scored the other goals for Columbus, which
put an end to a five-game losing streak.
Marc Denis made 26 saves for the Blue Jackets.
Columbus, which will host San Jose on Wednesday, is 9-23-3 away from home this
Detroit has dominated the Blue Jackets this season and has won all five
matchups, while outscoring Columbus 25-7 in the process. The Red Wings have
won seven of the last eight meetings and is an incredible 21-4-1 over the last
