Sean Burke started in net for the Coyotes, but was lifted after yielding four goals on 21 shots through just under 26 minutes of action.

Phoenix went without a goal in five chances with the extra skater.

The Coyotes could have trouble this afternoon, as they are 0-3-4-1 in their last eight road tilts. For the season, Phoenix is 2-3-4-1 on foreign ice.

The Coyotes have never lost in seven meetings with the Thrashers, outscoring them 27-11. Last season, Phoenix outscored the Thrashers, 9-3, in a pair of meetings.
